Claims (2)
- ブロック側壁に一体的に形成され、このブロック側壁から側方へ張り出しつつ、複数の気筒にわたって気筒列方向へ延びる筒状リブと、
上記ブロック側壁に一体的に形成され、ノックセンサが取り付けられるノックセンサ取付ボスと、を有し、
このノックセンサ取付ボスが、上記トップデッキと上記筒状リブとの間の上記ブロック側壁から機関側方へ張り出しており、このノックセンサ取付ボスの一部が上記トップデッキに接続,一体化しており、
かつ、上記ブロック側壁から側方へ張り出した接続リブによって、上記ノックセンサ取付ボスの外周と上記筒状リブの外周とを一体的に接続したことを特徴とする内燃機関のシリンダブロック。 - 上記筒状リブが、内部に冷却水通路を有するウォータパイプであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関のシリンダブロック。
