Claims (1)
- 回転するディスク型の磁気記録媒体の上を浮上走行し、該磁気記録媒体との間で磁気情報の記録又は再生を行う磁気エレメントを具備し、媒体対向面には、媒体走行方向に関して上流側端部に、流入パッド部、該流入パッド部から下流側に延びているサイドレール部、媒体走行方向に関して下流側端部に、中央部にはセンターパッド、該センターパッドの両側にサイドパッドが設けられているヘッドスライダにおいて、
前記流入パッド部、センターパッド及びサイドパッドは、エアベアリング面と該エアベアリング面よりも高さが低い段差面とを有し、少なくとも一方の側のサイドレールとサイドパッドとが接合されており、少なくとも一方のサイドレール部はヘッドスライダの側端縁から幅方向に10μm以上ヘッドスライダの中央寄りに形成され、
前記サイドレール部は、流入パッド部との接合部又はサイドパッドとの結合部のヘッドスライダ外側寄りの角度が鈍角に形成されていることを特徴とするヘッドスライダ。
