Description
特にディーゼル内燃機関では、有害物質の放出を低下させるため及び効率を高めるために、燃料を可能な限り微細に霧化して内燃機関の相応な燃焼室に噴射することが必要である。このことを達成するためには、燃料噴射装置内に燃料が到達する際の噴射圧を高めるか、又は、燃料を燃料噴射装置から燃焼室に到達させる燃料流出開口の数を高め、かつ同時に燃料流出開口の個々の横断面を小さくすることである。このような構成によって、噴射される燃料噴流の霧化品質が改善され、かつ同時に、生ぜしめられる燃料霧(「スプレ」)の液滴直径が減じられる。
本発明による燃料噴射装置では、ただ1つの高圧接続部及び低圧接続部しか必要ない。そして圧力レベルの異なった複数の蓄圧器を省くことができる。弁エレメントの開閉は互いに無関係に独立して制御することが可能である。
次に図面を参照しながら、本発明の特に有利な実施例を説明する。
図2は、図1に示された燃料噴射装置を断面して示す図であり、
図3は、図2に示された燃料噴射装置においてIIIで示された領域を拡大して示す図であり、
図4は、図2に示された燃料噴射装置においてIVで示された領域を拡大して示す図であり、
図5は、図2に示された燃料噴射装置の操作時における噴射経過を、異なった運転状態において示す線図である。
内燃機関の燃料系は、図1において全体として符号1で示されている。この燃料系1は燃料タンク12を有しており、この燃料タンク12から電気式の燃料ポンプ14は燃料を高圧ポンプ16に搬送する。この高圧ポンプ16は燃料をさらに燃料集合管路18(いわゆるレール)に圧送し、この燃料集合管路18において燃料は極めて高い圧力下で貯えられる。燃料集合管路18には複数の燃料噴射装置20が接続されており、これらの燃料噴射装置20は燃料をそれぞれ所属の燃焼室22内に直接噴射する。
2ポート2位置方向切換え弁64の閉鎖時に、制御室60と低圧接続部28との間の接続は中断されている。同時に制御室60はしかしながら高圧通路84とリング室82と液体通路88とを介して、高圧接続部24と接続されている。従ってこの場合制御室60内には高い液圧が存在している。内側の弁エレメント34の液圧式の制御面58において閉鎖方向に作用する相応な液圧力によって、内側の弁エレメント34のシール縁52はハウジング面46に押し付けられる。
Claims (7)
- 内燃機関用の燃料噴射装置(20)、特に内燃機関に燃料を直接噴射する燃料噴射装置(20)であって、複数の燃料流出通路(48,54)にそれぞれ配属もしくは対応配置された少なくとも2つの弁エレメント(34,36)が設けられていて、該弁エレメントのうちの1つの弁エレメント(36)が、圧力室(40,43)を画成していて開放方向に作用する受圧面(38)と、閉鎖方向に作用する負荷装置(50)とを有しており、前記弁エレメントのうちの他の弁エレメント(34)が、少なくとも時々高圧接続部(24)に接続される液圧式の制御室(60)を画成していて閉鎖方向に作用する液圧式の制御面(58)と、開放方向に作用する負荷装置(51)とを有しており、しかも制御室(60)を低圧接続部(28)と接続することができる制御弁(64)が設けられている形式のものにおいて、燃料噴射装置(20)が付加弁装置(66)を有しており、該付加弁装置(66)が第1の終端位置において圧力室(40,43)を低圧接続部(28)とだけ接続し、かつ制御室(60)を高圧接続部(24)と接続し、かつ第2の終端位置において圧力室(40,43)を少なくとも主として高圧接続部(24)と接続し、かつ制御室(60)の少なくとも1つの領域を主として高圧接続部(24)から切り離し、さらに中間位置において圧力室(40,43)を少なくとも主として高圧接続部(24)と接続し、かつ制御室(60)を高圧接続部(24)とも接続するようになっていることを特徴とする、内燃機関用の燃料噴射装置。
- 付加弁装置(66)が円筒形の切換え体(68)を有しており、該切換え体(68)が、圧力室(40,43)を低圧接続部(28)から切り離す第1の弁縁部(72)と、圧力室を高圧接続部(24)に接続する第2の弁縁部(76)と、液圧式の制御室(60)を画成する液圧式の制御面(92)とを有している、請求項1記載の燃料噴射装置(20)。
- 切換え体(68)に液体通路(88)が形成されていて、該液体通路(88)が少なくとも時々高圧接続部(24)を制御室(60)と接続する、請求項2記載の燃料噴射装置(20)。
- 液体通路(88)が流れ絞り(90)を有している、請求項3記載の燃料噴射装置(20)。
- 制御室(60)の軸方向の画成面にシール区分(94)が設けられていて、該シール区分(94)に切換え体(68)が第2の終端位置において接触するようになっており、該シール区分(94)が、切換え体(68)のこの第2の終端位置において、第2の弁エレメント(34)の制御面(58)によって画成されていて低圧接続部(28)と接続可能な制御室(60)の領域を、液体通路(88)に接続された制御室(60)の領域から切り離すようになっている、請求項3又は4記載の燃料噴射装置(20)。
- 第1の弁エレメント(36)において閉鎖方向に作用する負荷装置(50)が次のように、すなわち第1の弁エレメント(36)が高圧接続部(24)における比較的低い圧力において開放するように、設計されている、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の燃料噴射装置(20)。
- 切換え体(68)が中心に貫通開口(70)を有していて、該貫通開口(70)において第2の弁エレメント(34)の1区分(56)が案内されている、請求項2から6までのいずれか1項記載の燃料噴射装置(20)。
