となる。
S2−S1=2(A2−A1)
となり、A2は、図2で明らかなように、長手方向谷線上端点12巾方向谷線上端点13開口中心点18を頂点とする直角3角形の斜辺12、13の長さであり、その3角形の底辺12、18よりも長いので、菱形開口部4を閉じると、両リブ上端面交叉中心点11間の距離は、2(A2−A1)だけ増大する。
T2−T1=2(B2−B1)
となり、両リブ下端面交叉中心点15リブ下端面交叉中心点15間の距離は2(B2−B1)だけ増大するが、A1、A2に比べて、B1、B2の方が短かいので、その伸び量は小さくなり、従って、リブ上端面10を結んだ面は上方へ突出した図14に図示のような弯曲面となり、6角形リブ構造1を図示されないヘルメットの衝撃緩衝材に適用することが可能となる。

Claims (8)
- 一平面に対し直交する方向のリブが相互に交叉して、多角形状に形成された多角形リブ構造において、
多角形リブの各辺の長手方向略中央部に位置して厚み中心部が2分割されるとともに、該2分割の相対する分割面が相互に離れて開口部が形成され、
該開口部の横断面積が開口端から奥に向って減少する形状に前記多角形リブの各辺が形成されたことを特徴とする開口付き多角形リブ構造。 - 前記請求項1記載の開口付き多角形リブ構造において、前記多角形リブの菱形開口部の形状および寸法が前記一平面の一方向または複数方向に進むにつれて変化することを特徴とする開口付き多角形リブ構造。
- 前記請求項1または請求項2記載の開口付き多角形リブ構造において、前記開口部が閉じられ、該開口部の開口面積の広い側のリブ縁に接する外周面が凸弯曲面に形成されたことを特徴とする多角形リブ構造。
- 前記多角形リブの横断面形状は、正6角形または矩形を連らねた形状に形成されたことを特徴とする請求項3記載の多角形リブ構造。
- 前記多角形リブ構造は、衝撃吸収材であることを特徴とする請求項3または請求項4記載の多角形リブ構造。
- 前記多角形リブ構造は、ヘルメット用衝撃吸収材であることを特徴とする請求項5記載の多角形リブ構造。
- 上下1対の成形型よりなり、
一方の成形型は、先端に向かって先細となった横断面菱形形状の先細4角錐状雄型が仮想正多角柱面の各外周面中央に位置し、かつ先細4角錐状雄型の縦断面が前記仮想正多角形柱面に沿って配置され、
他方の成形型では、前記仮想正角柱面を中心として一定の巾の正多角形溝が形成され、該正多角形溝の長手方向中央に位置して、溝奥に向って次第に小さくなるV字状凹部が形成されたことを特徴とする開口付き多角形リブ構造成形型。 - 請求項7記載の1対の成形型間に成形材料を充填して成形した後、
前記先細4角錐状雄型により形成された4角錐状開口部の対向壁面を相互に当接させて多角形リブ構造を構成することを特徴とする多角形リブ構造の成型方法。
