Description
Claims (5)
- 血管内に配置され得る細長い本体を有するカテーテルと、
該細長い本体上の一対の膨張可能なバルーン部材であって、該血管の内壁に接触するように膨張可能なバルーン部材と、
該バルーン間の該細長い本体上の電極配列と、
該バルーン間の該細長い本体上の複数の開口と、
該複数の開口と結合されたフラッシング流体の流体源と、
該複数の開口と流動的に結合された真空源であって、該複数の開口を通して該血管の組織を引き出して該電極配列に接触させると共に、該血管の中から血液及びフラッシング流体を吸引するのに十分な真空圧を与える真空源と、
該電極配列と電気的に結合された切除エネルギー源であって、該電極配列への電圧印加によって該電極配列に接触する血管組織の切除を生じさせるようにされた切除エネルギー源とから成る血管密閉装置。 - 該真空源は切除中発生される水分を組織から該細長い本体内に引き出すようにさらに操作され得る、請求項1の装置。
- 該電極はバイポーラ電極である、請求項1の装置。
- 該切除エネルギー源は、低インピーダンス変圧回路及び高インピーダンス変圧回路を有するRF発生器と、該電極配列に接触する組織のインピーダンスを測定するインピーダンス検出回路及び該電極配列に接触する該組織の該インピーダンスに基づく低インピーダンス変圧回路と、高インピーダンス変圧回路間の選択を自動的に行う制御回路とを含む、請求項1の装置。
- 該制御回路は、該電極配列と接触する該組織の該測定されたインピーダンスに最も近いインピーダンスを有する該変圧回路を選択するためのものである、請求項4の装置。
