Description

Claims (40)
- 蒸気を供給して患者の静脈を治療するように構成された細長部材であって、
液体を加熱して蒸気を発生する蒸気発生装置と、
細長部材内に配置され、蒸気発生装置と流体連通された供給孔と、
細長部材内に配置され、細長部材の供給孔から伝達される熱を減少させるように構成されたアクティブ断熱孔とを備える、静脈治療用の細長部材。 - アクティブ断熱孔が真空装置に接続されている、請求項1に記載の細長部材。
- 真空装置が真空ポンプである、請求項2に記載の細長部材。
- 真空装置が蒸気壁である、請求項2に記載の細長部材。
- 真空装置がアクティブ断熱孔内に積極的に真空を形成する、請求項2に記載の細長部材。
- アクティブ断熱孔がガス源に接続されている、請求項1に記載の細長部材。
- アクティブ断熱孔が、供給孔に隣接する流入部と、細長部材の外表面に隣接する流出部とを備える、請求項1に記載の細長部材。
- アクティブ断熱孔の流入部がガス源に接続されている、請求項7に記載の細長部材。

患者の対象組織内に細長部材を配置する工程と、
細長部材の供給孔を通じて対象組織に蒸気を供給する工程と、
細長部材のアクティブ断熱孔内に積極的に真空を形成して蒸気を断熱する工程とを含む、方法。 - 供給工程において、供給孔内にて蒸気の発生が行われる、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 供給工程において、患者の外部にて蒸気の発生が行われる、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 供給工程において、細長部材のハンドル内にて蒸気の発生が行われる、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 真空装置を用いて真空が形成される、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 対象組織が静脈である、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 対象組織が動脈である、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 対象組織が腺管である、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 供給工程において、細長部材の遠位端に配置された針を通して蒸気の供給が行われる、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 患者の体内の静脈に供給される蒸気を断熱する方法であって、
患者の静脈内に細長部材を位置させる工程と、
細長部材の供給孔を通じて静脈に蒸気を供給する工程と、
細長部材のアクティブ断熱孔を用いて積極的に蒸気を断熱する工程とを含む、方法。 - 積極的に断熱する工程において、細長部材のアクティブ断熱孔内の真空を用いて蒸気を積極的に断熱する、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 真空装置により真空が形成される、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 真空装置が真空ポンプである、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 真空装置が真空壁である、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 積極的に断熱する工程において、細長部材のアクティブ断熱孔内のガスを用いて蒸気を積極的に断熱する、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 供給孔に隣接するアクティブ断熱孔を通って遠位方向にガスを流し、細長部材の外表面に隣接するアクティブ断熱孔を通って近位方向にガスを戻す、請求項34に記載の方法。
- 積極的な断熱工程において、細長部材のアクティブ断熱孔内の液体を用いて蒸気を積極的に断熱する、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 供給工程において、供給孔内にて蒸気の発生が行われる、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 供給工程において、患者の外部にて蒸気の発生が行われる、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 供給工程において、細長部材のハンドル内にて蒸気の発生が行われる、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 供給工程において、細長部材の遠位端に配置された針を通して蒸気が供給される、請求項29に記載の方法。
