Description
本発明は、医療診断用撮像の分野に係る。本発明は、CT(computed
tomography)スキャナに関連して適用を見出せ、特にそれを参考して説明される。しかし、本発明は、他の回転ガントリ用途にも適用できることは認識されるべきである。
本発明の一局面では、診断用撮像装置が提供される。複数の個々のベアリングパッドは、固定ガントリ上に搭載され、その少なくとも幾つかのベアリングパッドが個々の径方向調節のために搭載される。少なくとも1つの環状のベアリングレースを含む回転ガントリは、回転する際、ベアリングパッドから薄い空気層だけ離間する。X線管は、回転ガントリ上に設けられる。
本発明は、種々の構成要素及び構成要素の配列の形態、及び、種々のステップ及びステップの配列の形態をとりうる。図面は、単に好ましい実施例の説明上のものであり、本発明を減縮することが意図されていない。
Claims (15)
- 固定ガントリと、
固定ガントリ上に搭載される複数の個々のベアリングパッドであって、その少なくとも幾つかのベアリングパッドが個々の径方向調節のために搭載されている、複数のベアリングパッドと、
少なくとも1つの環状のベアリングレースを有する回転ガントリであって、ベアリングレースは、回転ガントリが固定ガントリに対して回転する際、ベアリングパッドに対して近傍に薄い空気層だけ離間して配置されている、回転ガントリと、
回転ガントリ上に設けられるX線管とを含む、装置。 - 各個々のベアリングパッドは、
圧縮エア入口及びエア流通路を有するハウジングと、
ベアリングレースに対向し、前記エア流通路と連通する通気性のある通気面とを含み、通気面を通過するエアが、通気面とベアリングレースの間に薄い空気層を確立する、請求項1記載の装置。 - 少なくとも1つのベアリングレースが、回転ガントリの両側面に向く対の同心の環状レースを含み、複数のベアリングパッドが、各対のレースの近傍に配設されている、請求項2記載の装置。
- 少なくとも3.5×109Paの力でベアリングレースに少なくとも幾つかのパッドを付勢する付勢手段を更に含む、請求項2又は3記載の装置。
- 付勢手段は、ベルビルワッシャーである、請求項4記載の装置。
- ベアリングレースに隣接して配置される多孔性の接触部をそれぞれ有し、回転ガントリ及び固定ガントリの一方に搭載される複数のベアリングパッドと、
流体を流体ベアリングパッドに供給する流体ポンプとを更に含み、該流体は、多孔性の接触部から放出され、ベアリングレースとベアリングパッドとの間に回転ガントリを支持する流体層を形成する、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の装置。 - ベアリング流体として使用される流体を収容するリザーバーを更に含む、請求項6記載の装置。
- 少なくとも1つのベアリングレースは、
外側の環状ベアリング表面と、
外側のベアリング表面と共通の中心軸を備えた第1及び第2の平行な表面とを含む、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の装置。 - 少なくとも外側の環状ベアリング表面、第1の平行なベアリング表面、及び、第2の平行なベアリング表面は、円滑に機械加工されている、請求項8記載の装置。
- 複数の流体ベアリングパッドは、外側のベアリング表面に対応して湾曲された第1のパッド群を含む、請求項8又は9記載の装置。
- 流体ベアリングパッドは、前記平行なベアリング面に対応して平らな多孔性の接触部を持つ第2のパッド群を含む、請求項10記載の装置。
- 第1のパッド群は、4つのパッドを含み、第2のパッド群は、6つのパッドを含む、請求項11記載の装置。
- 撮像領域まわりに回転ガントリを回転させるステップと、
流体リザーバー、及び、流体ベアリングパッドに流体を送り、流体ベアリングパッドから流体を放出することによって、回転ガントリと複数の流体ベアリングパッドとの間に流体ベアリングを生成するステップと、
前記流体ベアリングパッドの少なくとも幾つかに関する付勢力を調整するステップとを含む、回転ガントリ回転方法。 - 流体リザーバー内を一定圧に維持するステップを更に含む、請求項13記載の方法。
- エア供給に障害が生じた場合にベアリングの堅さを保持するため、回転ガントリが減速している間に流体リザーバーを枯渇させるステップを更に含む、請求項14記載の方法。
