Claims (21)
- 車両の乗員を保護する補助を行うための膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置において、
(a)重なった織りパネル及び(b)上記重なった各パネルからの材料のストランドを含む単一層の第1及び第2の織ったシームの双方を形成するように一緒に織られた材料のストランドを有し、上記第1及び第2のシームが当該重なったパネル間で上記膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の膨張可能な体積部分を画定する補助を行い、当該第1のシームが当該第2のシームの織りパターンとは異なる織りパターンを有し、第1のシームの上記膨張可能な体積部分に隣接する部分と第2のシームの上記膨張可能な体積部分に隣接する部分との織りパターンが互いに異なるようになっていることを特徴とする膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。 - 上記第1のシームは、同第1のシームが上記膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の展開中に高い応力を受けるように、当該膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置上の位置に位置し、上記第2のシームは、該膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の展開中に、当該第1のシーム上の応力よりも小さな応力を受けるように、該膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置上の位置に位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記第1のシームの上記織りパターンが上記第2のシームの上記織りパターンの織り密度よりも小さな織り密度を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記第1のシームの上記織りパターンが4つ又はそれ以上のフロートを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記第1のシームの上記織りパターンが3つずつのバスケット織りを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記第1のシームが18ヤーンの幅を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記第1のシームの上記3つずつのバスケット織りが上記膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の上記膨張可能な体積部分に隣接して位置することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記第2のシームの上記織りパターンが3つ又はそれ以下のフロートを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記第2のシームの上記織りパターンが2つずつのバスケット織りを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記第2のシームが6ヤーンの幅を有することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記第2のシームが更に3つずつのバスケット織りも有することを特徴とする請求項9に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記第2のシームの上記2つずつのバスケット織りが当該第2のシームの上記3つずつのバスケット織りを取り囲むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記第2のシームの上記2つずつのバスケット織りが上記膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の上記膨張可能な体積部分に隣接して位置し、当該第2のシームの上記3つずつのバスケット織りが該膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の当該膨張可能な体積部分から離間していることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記重なったパネルが平織パターンとして織られることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- (a)重なった織りパネル及び(b)上記重なった各パネルからの材料のストランドを含み、当該重なったパネル間で膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の膨張可能な体積部分を画定する補助を行う単一層の織ったシーム、の双方を形成するように一緒に織られた材料のストランドを有する膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置において、
上記単一層のシームが、
上記膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の上記膨張可能な体積部分に隣接する少なくとも4つ又はそれ以上のフロートを生じさせる少なくとも1つの高応力シームと;
上記膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の上記膨張可能な体積部分に隣接する3つよりも多くないフロートを生じさせる少なくとも1つの低透過性のシームと;
を有することを特徴とする膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。 - 上記高応力シームが上記膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の上記膨張可能な体積部分に隣接する3つずつのバスケット織りを有することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記低透過性のシームが上記膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の上記膨張可能な体積部分に隣接する2つずつのバスケット織りを有することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記低透過性のシームが更に上記膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の上記膨張可能な体積部分から離間した3つずつのバスケット織りも有することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記低透過性のシームが2つずつのバスケット織りにより取り囲まれた3つずつのバスケット織りを有することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記高応力シームが、上記膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の展開中に高応力を受け易い当該膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の領域内に位置することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
- 上記低透過性のシームが、上記膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の展開中に、上記高応力シームが位置する当該膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の領域における応力よりもより小さな応力を受ける、該膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置の領域内に位置することを特徴とする請求項15に記載の膨張可能な車両乗員保護装置。
