Claims (2)
- 車両の前面部に配設され歩行者の衝突を検知する歩行者検知センサと、
該歩行者検知センサの出力信号が入力され、該歩行者の衝突の判断を行い歩行者衝突信号を発する演算部と、
該歩行者衝突信号が入力されたときにボンネットを跳ね上げる跳ね上げ部と、
を有する歩行者保護装置であって、
該車両の前部のショックアブソーバーと略平行に配設され、該歩行者衝突信号が入力されたときに上下方向にのびる油圧シリンダと、一端が該ショックアブソーバーの上部に接続され他端が該油圧シリンダの下方の端部に接続された略クランク形状のアッパーアームと、一端が該ショックアブソーバーの下部に接続され他端が該油圧シリンダの上方の端部に接続された略クランク形状のロアーアームと、を有し、該ボンネットの跳ね上げが行われるときに、該油圧シリンダのピストンを突出させて該ショックアブソーバーを圧縮して該車両の前部の車高を低減させる車高低減手段を有することを特徴とする歩行者保護装置。 - フロントピラーにもうけられ前記歩行者衝突信号が入力されたときにボンネット上および/または少なくともウィンドシールドの下部もしくはAピラー部に展開するエアバックを有する請求項1記載の歩行者保護装置。
