Description
前記筐体の底面上に並べられた複数の蛍光管と、前記蛍光管を点灯させるための駆動基板と、前記筐体の側面に固定され、前記蛍光管と前記駆動基板とを接続して保持する前記第1のコネクタ装置とを備え、前記複数の蛍光管のそれぞれは、当該蛍光管の端部内側に封止される内部電極と、前記内部電極に一端が接続され当該蛍光管端部外側の延出するリード線と、前記蛍光管端部に被せられ、前記リード線の他端が接続されるキャップとを備えていることを特徴とするバックライト組立体が得られる。

Claims (7)
- 両端にそれぞれ接続部を有した蛍光管と接続するコネクタ装置において、
第1のハウジングと前記第1のハウジング内部に収容される第1の端子とを備え、
前記第1のハウジングは前記蛍光管の一端が挿入され前記第1の端子に至るように開口した差込口を備え、
前記第1の端子は前記蛍光管の一端に接続される第1接続部と、前記蛍光管を駆動するための蛍光管駆動基板を接続するための第2接続部とを備えており、前記第2接続部は前記蛍光管駆動基板を上下から挟み込むための上下片を有していることを特徴とするコネクタ装置。 - 請求項1に記載のコネクタ装置において、前記第1接続部は、板バネ状であり、前記蛍光管の一端を弾性支持することを特徴とするコネクタ装置。
- 請求項1に記載のコネクタ装置において、前記第1のハウジングは平面を備えた反射壁を有する反射部材からなることを特徴とするコネクタ装置。
- 請求項1〜3の内のいずれか一つに記載のコネクタ装置を第1のコネクタ装置として用いたバックライト組立体であって、
底面を備えた四角箱型の筐体と、
前記筐体の底面上に並べられた複数の蛍光管と、
前記蛍光管を点灯させるための駆動基板と、
前記筐体の側面に固定され、前記蛍光管と前記駆動基板とを接続して保持する前記第1のコネクタ装置とを備え、
前記複数の蛍光管のそれぞれは、当該蛍光管の端部内側に封止される内部電極と、
前記内部電極に一端が接続され当該蛍光管端部外側の延出するリード線と、
前記蛍光管端部に被せられ、前記リード線の他端が接続されるキャップとを備えていることを特徴とするバックライト組立体。 - 請求項4に記載のバックライト組立体において、前記キャップの長さは、前記蛍光管の内部電極を覆うだけ長く形成されていることを特徴とするバックライト組立体。
- 請求項4に記載のバックライト組立体において、前記キャップの外径および差込口の内径は、蛍光管の接続状態で前記キャップが前記差込口に触れないように形成されていることを特徴とするバックライト組立体。
- 請求項4に記載のバックライト組立体において、
前記第1のコネクタ装置の側面に対向する側面に第2のコネクタ装置を備え、
前記第2のコネクタ装置は、前記蛍光管の他端が挿入される複数の差込口を供えた第2のハウジングと、前記第2のハウジング内部に設けられた第2の端子とを備え、前記第2の端子は、蛍光管の他端を接続、複数の隣接する端子同士を接続する第3の接続部を備えていることを特徴とするバックライト組立体。
