Claims (4)
- 光ファイバの融着接続部を保護する光ファイバ補強部材を加熱収縮する加熱処理装置であって、
加熱部は、前記光ファイバ補強部材の軸方向と直交する断面がU字状に湾曲された面状発熱体で形成され、前記光ファイバ補強部材を前記面状発熱体に収納載置したときに、前記光ファイバ補強部材が面接触するU字状底部の領域を中央発熱部分とし、前記光ファイバ補強部材が非接触となる両側面の領域を側方発熱部分とし、前記側方発熱部分の発熱温度は、前記中央発熱部分の発熱温度より低くなるように形成されていることを特徴とする光ファイバ補強部材の加熱処理装置。 - 前記面状発熱体の発熱部分における前記側方発熱部分の電力密度が、前記中央発熱部分の電力密度の80%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光ファイバ補強部材の加熱処理装置。
- 光ファイバの融着接続部を保護する光ファイバ補強部材を加熱収縮する加熱処理方法であって、
前記光ファイバ補強部材を、前記光ファイバ補強部材の軸方向と直交する断面がU字状に湾曲された面状発熱体に収納載置し、前記光ファイバ補強部材が面接触するU字状底部の領域の発熱温度より、前記光ファイバ補強部材が非接触となる両側面の領域の発熱温度を低くして、加熱収縮することを特徴とする光ファイバ補強部材の加熱処理方法。 - 請求項1または2に記載の光ファイバ補強部材の加熱処理装置を搭載したことを特徴とする光ファイバ融着接続装置。
