Description
本発明に従えば、多層構造体は以下のようにして製造される。フィルム、シート又は異形材は以下のとおり定義されるブレンド又は組成物から製造される。
本発明に従えば、前記多層構造体は以下のようにして製造される。フィルム、シート又は異形材は以下のとおり定義されるブレンド又は組成物から製造される。
加熱撓み温度 −ASTM D648
塗料接着性 −ASTM D3359-97
この例1においては、安定剤として、ここに記載されているように製造された、次の組成物が使用された。周囲温度において、ビス(フェノール)Aに基づくもので、ASTM法D 1238による300℃、荷重1.2 kgでの溶融流速11.5 g/10分を有するBayerのMAKROLON 5308ポリカーボネート粉末2470 lb(1120 kg)及びジステアリルペンタエリスリトール二亜リン酸エステル130 lb(58.9 kg)を、ポリカーボネート粉末で3000 lbの有効容量を有するJAYGO Model No. JRB100リボンブレンダーに充填した。ポリカーボネート:二亜リン酸エステルの重量比は95:5であった。リボンブレンダーは二亜リン酸エステルを加えながら25 rpm(回転/分)で攪拌し、更に10分間攪拌した。未乾燥の粉末濃厚物2600 lb(1179 kg)が得られ、これは次いで、以下のようにしてペレット化した。40mmのWerner-Pfleiderer Model ZSK-40二軸押出機がスクリュー速度250 rpm、下表Iに示されたバレル設定温度で運転した。
UV被覆層を置き換えたことを除いて、例1の手順を追試した。例2においては、ポリカーボネートUV被覆層として、他の2種の製品、即ち、Cyasorb 5411 UV吸収剤を含むBayerポリカーボネート及びCyasorb 3638 UV吸収剤を含むBayerポリカーボネートを使用した。得られる多層構造体は、例1の多層構造体と同様の特性を発揮することが期待される。
本体層のシートが形成されるコポリエステル/ポリカーボネートブレンドを製造するに際して、別のポリカーボネートを使用したことを除いて例1の手順を追試した。この例においては、ポリカーボネート材料として、BayerのMakrolon 2608ポリカーボネートを使用した。この多層構造体の特性は例1の多層構造体と同様あることが期待される。
Claims (10)
- 少なくとも1種又はそれ以上の紫外線吸収性化合物及び少なくとも1種又はそれ以上の第一のポリカーボネートを含む紫外線防護層;並びに、
前記紫外線防護層に隣接する、ブレンドから構成されるポリマー層を含んでなり、
前記ブレンドが、
(A) ブレンドの合計に基づいて、15 〜 40 重量%の少なくとも1種の第二のポリカーボネート、並びに、
(B) ブレンドの合計に基づいて、60 〜 85 重量%の、(a)テレフタル酸、ナフタレンジカルボン酸、1,4-シクロヘキサンジカルボン酸及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選ばれるジカルボン酸65 〜 85 モル%;イソフタル酸15 〜 35 モル%;並びに炭素数4〜 40の他のジカルボン酸単位0〜 20 モル%(但し、これらのジカルボン酸単位の合計モル%は100モル%に等しい)を含む酸成分;並びに
(b) 1,4-シクロヘキサンジメタノール80 〜 100 モル%及び炭素数3〜 12の他のグリコール単位0〜20 モル%(但し、これらのグリコール単位の合計モル%は100モル%に等しい)を含むグリコール成分を含んでなる少なくとも1種のコポリエステル(但し、このコポリエステルの合計単位は200モル%に等しい)を含んでなる紫外線から防護された多層構造体。 - 少なくとも1種のコポリエステルがASTM試験法D2857-70に従って測定したインヘレント粘度0.5 〜 1.5 dL/gを有する請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- コポリエステルの酸成分がテレフタル酸を含む請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- コポリエステルのグリコール成分が1,4-シクロヘキサンジメタノール100モル%を含む請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- コポリエステルが1,4-シクロヘキサンジメタノール100モル%、イソフタル酸26 モル%及びテレフタル酸74 モル%を含む請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- ブレンドが更に亜リン酸系安定剤を含む請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- 紫外線吸収化合物が紫外線防護層の中に0.25 〜 15 重量%の範囲の量存在する請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- 紫外線防護層がポリマー層の両表面に隣接する請求項1に記載の多層構造体。
- 紫外線防護層及びポリマー層を共押出することを含んでなる請求項1に記載の多層構造体の製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載の多層構造体から製造される製造物品。
