Description
Claims (7)
- タービンエンジンのディフューザーリングに複数の孔を機械加工する方法であって、前記孔は円周方向に均等な間隔を置いており、かつディフューザーリングがインペラーとともに組み立てられたときに接線位置でタービンエンジンのインペラーを取り巻き、各々の孔は二つの隣接する孔と非対称な位置で交差しており、前記方法は、
a)ディフューザーリングの周縁部に実質的に沿って複数の孔位置を決定するステップと、
b)ディフューザーリングに内方に伸びる複数のパイロット孔を設けるステップであり、各々のパイロット孔は最後の孔が機械加工される位置を除いて孔位置の一つにそれぞれ対応し、かつ各々のパイロット孔は限定された深さを有して隣接するパイロット孔が互いに交差しない、ステップと、
c)最後の孔のために残してある位置に隣接する二つのパイロット孔のうちの一つを、機械加工する最初の孔として選択するステップと、
d)対応するパイロット孔に沿って最初の孔を所望の深さまで荒加工するステップと、
e)最初の孔を仕上げ加工するステップと、
f)その前に完成された孔に隣接するパイロット孔に沿って次の孔を所望の深さまで荒加工するステップと、
g)次の孔を仕上げ加工するステップと、
h)ステップ(f)から(g)までを繰り返して、機械加工される最後の孔を除いて、機械加工される残りの孔を順に完成するステップと、
i)最後の孔を荒加工および仕上げ加工するステップと、
を有することを特徴とする方法。 - ステップ(i)は、
最後の孔を機械加工するために残してある位置にパイロット孔を設けることをさらに含み、予備孔はその前に完成された隣接する孔のいずれとも交差しないように限定された深さを有することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。 - 最初の孔と二番目の孔との交差部が、二番目の孔が荒加工および仕上げ加工されるときに二番目の孔の端部で生じるように、機械加工される最初の孔が選択されることを特徴とする、請求項2記載の方法。
- 二番目の孔を荒加工する前に完成された最初の孔に第二のプラグを挿入し、二番目の孔を仕上げ加工した後に完成された最初の孔から第二のプラグを除去するステップと、
三番目の孔から最後の一つ手前の孔までの各々の孔を荒加工するときに、その前に完成された隣接する孔に第一のプラグを挿入し、孔を荒加工した後に第一のプラグを除去するステップと、
三番目の孔から最後の一つ手前の孔までの各々の荒加工された孔を仕上げ加工するときに、その前に完成された隣接する孔に第二のプラグを挿入し、孔を仕上げ加工した後に第二のプラグを除去するステップと、
最後の孔を荒加工および仕上げ加工するときに、完成された最初の孔に第二のプラグを挿入し、完成された最後の一つ手前の孔に第一のプラグを挿入するステップと、をさらに有することを特徴とする、請求項3記載の方法。 - すべての各々の孔の仕上げ加工が、
各々の孔をリーマー仕上げするステップと、
孔をリーマー仕上げした後に孔の少なくとも一部をバニシング仕上げするステップと、
を有することを特徴とする、請求項4記載の方法。 - 各々の孔のバニシング仕上げがある深さに限定され、該深さがこのバニシング工程において孔の端部に位置する隣接する孔との交差部に達しない深さであることを特徴とする、請求項5記載の方法。
- 各々の孔がディフューザーリングの内周部の直近に伸びることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
