Description
この構成によって、別にセパレータを要していたものを簡略化でき、構成上容易になった。また、別の構成材料であるセパレータがずれることによる短絡不良を抑制する効果もある。
正極は、コバルト酸リチウム粉末100重量部に対し、導電剤のアセチレンブラック(AB)粉末3重量部と結着剤のポリ弗化ビニリデン樹脂(PVdF樹脂)4重量部を混合し、これらを脱水ノルマルメチルピロリドン(NMP)に分散させてスラリーを作製し、アルミ箔からなる正極集電体上の両面に塗布し、乾燥後、圧延して作製した。圧延後の厚みは、正極集電体が、15μm、合剤層がそれぞれ片面で70μmであった。
本実施の形態においては、実施の形態1では使用しなかったセパレータを使用し、電極群の構成を図2のようにした以外は、実施の形態1と同様にして電池を作成した。
本実施の形態においては、電極群の構成を図3のように巻芯と負極活物質層の付け位置を変えた以外は、実施の形態1と同様にして電池を作成した。
本実施の形態においては、実施の形態3では使用しなかったセパレータを使用し、電極群の構成を図4のようにした以外は、実施の形態2と同様にして電池を作成した。

Claims (3)
- 集電体の両面の一部または全面に合剤を塗布した正極または負極の少なくともいずれか一方の合剤上に、フィラーおよび結着剤からなる多孔膜層が接着形成されており、前記正極と前記負極と、その極間にセパレータを用いてまたは用いずに、巻芯を用いて捲回してなる極板群を有するリチウムイオン二次電池において、前記正極または負極の少なくともいずれか一方の端部は、前記集電体の片側のみに、前記合剤または、前記合剤および前記多孔膜層が塗布または接着形成されたものである位相差塗工部となっており、前記位相差塗工部のある端部は前記巻芯側に配置されていると共に、前記位相差塗工部の合剤が塗布された部分が捲回の内側に配置されていることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池。
- 集電体の両面の一部または全面に合剤を塗布した正極または負極の少なくともいずれか一方の合剤上に、フィラーおよび結着剤からなる多孔膜層が接着形成されており、前記正極と前記負極と、その極間にセパレータを用いてまたは用いずに巻芯を用いて捲回してなる極板群を有するリチウムイオン二次電池の構成法において、前記正極または負極の少なくともいずれか一方の端部を、前記集電体の片側のみに、前記合剤または、前記合剤および前記多孔膜層が塗布または接着形成されたものである位相差塗工部とし、前記位相差塗工部のある端部を前記巻芯側に配置すると共に、前記位相差塗工部の合剤が塗布された部分が捲回の内側に配置するように捲回を始めることを特徴とするリチウムイオン二次電池の構成法。
- 前記巻芯には、極板段差の厚みに相当する段差が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2記載のリチウムイオン二次電池の構成法。
