Description
この発明は、組織の検体の処理、特に(これに限らないが)光学投影断層撮影(OPT)による検体の画像化の前の組織の検体の処理、および光学投影断層撮影の方法および装置の使用に関する。
組織の検体は、通常、検体がOPT装置で画像化される前に1つまたは複数の液体に浸漬することによって処理される。この発明は、この検体の前処理を容易にする仕方としてなされたものである。
この発明の一局面によると、液体に浸漬することによって組織の検体を処理するための装置が提供され、この装置は、液体を保持するためのチャンバを提供する第1の構成、および検体を解放可能に保持するための保持手段を含む第2の構造を含み、第1および第2の構造は、保持手段が比較的チャンバの近くにあり、かつ第2の構造がチャンバの上部を閉じて検体が液体に浸漬されるようにし、一方で後者が環境から守られる第1の位置と、保持手段が比較的チャンバから遠くにあり、検体を保持手段に載せ降ろしすることができる第2の位置との間で、垂直の成分を有する方向で相対的に動くことができる。

Claims (5)
- 液体に浸漬することによって組織の検体を処理するための装置であって、
前記液体を保持するための環状の溝槽を有する第1の構造、および
前記検体を解放可能に保持するための保持手段を含む第2の構造を含み、
前記第1の構造および第2の構造は、前記検体が前記液体に浸漬され、かつ前記第2の構造が前記溝槽の上部を閉じて前記液体の蒸発が防止される第1の位置と、前記保持手段が前記溝槽から比較的遠くにあって前記検体を前記保持手段に載せ降ろしすることができる第2の位置との間で、垂直の成分を有する方向で相対的に可動であり、
前記第2の構造が前記第1の位置へと下げられたときに前記検体が前記溝槽へと下げられるように、前記検体は円の周りで角度をもって隔てられた位置で前記保持手段から垂れ下がり、
前記第2の構造は、前記第1の位置で前記溝槽を閉じる働きをし、かつその下側に前記保持手段を担持する蓋を含む、装置。 - 前記第1の構造は静止しており、前記第2の構造は前記第1の構造に関して垂直に移動可能である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記保持手段は、各々に金属の台が設けられた検体を磁気引力によって前記第2の構造に着脱可能に保持できるようにするために磁石を含む、請求項1または2に記載の装置。
- 前記第2の構造は、中央の垂直の軸のまわりで回転可能に可動であり、前記検体は、ロボットアームまたは人間の手によって、前記装置に沿って選ばれた位置で前記第2の構造に載せ降ろしすることができる、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 前記装置は前記第1の位置にあるときに前記液体を交換しやすく、前記検体は、前記溝槽を閉じたまま、一連の処理ステージで異なる液体によって処理することができる、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の装置。
