Claims (14)
- 基板と、該基板の長手方向に沿って延在するインク供給スロットであって、前記基板の長手方向で互いに対向する内側縁及び外側縁を有するインク供給スロットと、該インク供給スロットの内側縁に沿って形成された液滴生成器列とを含み、前記液滴生成器列の各液滴生成器が複数のノズル及び気化室を含み、前記液滴生成器列内のノズルのノズル実装密度が、少なくとも約100ノズル/平方ミリメートルであるインクジェットプリントヘッドにおいて、
複数のインク供給チャネルをさらに含み、少なくとも1つのインク供給チャネルが、各液滴生成器と流体的に結合されるとともに前記インク供給スロットと流体的に結合され、前記インク供給スロットが前記液滴生成器列側に位置する内側縁を有し、前記液滴生成器列が、前記内側縁から異なる距離を有し、この異なる距離を相殺するために前記インク供給チャネルが異なる開口形状を有し、これによって各液滴生成器のすべての気化室のインク補充速度を均一にし、各インク供給チャネルの断面積とインク経路長と呼ばれる距離を一定にしている、インクジェットプリントヘッド。 - 前記ノズル実装密度は、少なくとも約250ノズル/平方ミリメートルである、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。

前記基板によって支持され、前記液滴生成器内に前記ノズルおよび前記気化室の形を定めるオリフィス層と、
をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。 - 前記液滴生成器がそれぞれ気化室を含み、
複数のインク供給チャネルを含み、少なくとも1つのインク供給チャネルが、各気化室に流体的に結合されるとともに前記インク供給スロットに流体的に結合され、
前記基板によって支持され、各インク供給チャネルの内側縁の形を定める薄膜構造と、
前記基板によって支持され、前記液滴生成器内に前記ノズルおよび前記気化室の形を定め、各インク供給チャネルの前記液滴生成器列側と反対側に位置する外側縁の形を定めるオリフィス層と、
をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド。 - 基板にインクジェットプリントヘッドを形成する方法であって、前記基板に、前記基板の長手方向で互いに対向する内側縁及び外側縁を有するインク供給スロットを形成するステップと、前記インク供給スロットの内側縁に沿って前記基板上に液滴生成器列を形成するステップであって、各液滴生成器内に複数のノズルを形成することを含むステップとを含み、前記液滴生成器列内のノズルのノズル実装密度が、少なくとも約100ノズル/平方ミリメートルであるインクジェットプリントヘッド形成方法において、
各液滴生成器に流体的に結合されかつ前記インク供給スロットに流体的に結合された少なくとも1つのインク供給チャネルを形成するステップを含む複数のインク供給チャネルを形成するステップをさらに含み、
前記基板に前記インク供給スロットを形成するステップが、前記インク供給スロットの内側縁の形を定めるステップを含み、
前記液滴生成器列が、前記液滴生成器列側に位置する内側縁から異なる距離を有するように形成され、

前記液滴生成器に前記ノズルおよび前記気化室の形を定めるステップを含む、前記基板上にオリフィス層を形成するステップとをさらに含み、
各気化室は少なくとも1つのインク供給チャネルに流体的に結合している、請求項8に記載のインクジェットプリントヘッド形成方法。 - 前記インク供給スロットに流体的に結合された複数のインク供給チャネルのそれぞれの内側縁の形を定めるステップを含む、前記基板上に薄膜構造を形成するステップと、
前記基板上にオリフィス層を形成するステップであって、該形成ステップは、前記液滴生成器に前記ノズルおよび前記気化室の形を定めるステップと、前記インク供給スロットに流体的に結合された複数のインク供給チャネルのそれぞれの外側縁の形を定めるステップを含むステップとをさらに含み、
