【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、スロットマシンに関するものである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】
従来から、スタートレバー又はスタートボタンを操作することにより、複数のリールの回転を開始させ、ストップボタンを操作することにより、各ストップボタンに対応したリールの回転を順次停止させ、全てのリールが停止したとき、停止したリールの図柄の組み合わせにより所要枚数のメダルなどを適宜払い出すようにした種々のスロットマシンが数多く提供されている。

（外観）
このスロットマシンは、多くの場合、図２に示すように、正面の略中央に操作板110が設けられ、この操作板110には、クレジットメダルボタン113、スタートレバー115、第１ストップボタン121乃至第３ストップボタン123とされる３個のストップボタン121,122,123、及び、メダル投入口111や払出しボタン117などが設けられたスロットマシン100とされている。

そして、操作板110の上方には正面板130が設けられ、この正面板130には、主リールの数に合わせて通常は３個のリール窓131が設けられている。尚、このリール窓131は、各々、各主リールの図柄が３個づつ程度見える大きさとされている。
更に、スロットマシン100における操作板110の下方には下パネル151が設けられ、下パネル151の下方などにメダル払出口153やメダル受け155などが設けられている。

又、前記正面板130には、入賞ラインが描かれると共に、入賞ライン中の有効ラインを表示する有効ランプ133や、クレジットメダルの枚数を表示するクレジット枚数表示器137、更にボーナスゲームの状態などを表示するゲーム状態表示ランプ135などが設けられている。
尚、正面板130の上方などには、ボーナスゲーム中などに点滅して演出を行う演出表示ランプを内蔵する上パネル141が設けられる。もっとも、この演出表示ランプは、正面板130の上方である上パネル141の内部に限ることなく、正面板130の周囲に設けられることもある。

又、近年では、ストップボタンの数に合わせた３個のリールである主リールと同軸とした補助リールを補助遊技演出装置147として３個の主リールの右端などに追加し、対応するストップボタンを備えていない補助リールの図柄を３個程度見せる大きさとされる補助リール窓を設けたスロットマシン100や、補助リールではなく、補助遊技演出装置147として液晶表示器を正面板130の適宜個所に設け、この液晶表示器により種々の演出表示を行うスロットマシン100も提供されている。

（動作）
そして、これらのスロットマシン100では、メダルの投入枚数により有効ラインの本数が定められ、有効ラインに停止した３個の図柄の組み合わせにより、２枚や３枚又は１０枚や１５枚などの所要枚数のメダルが払い出されるものである。

更に、投入されたメダルの枚数に合わせた複数の有効ライン上に停止した図柄の組み合わせに応じて、所要枚数のメダルを払い出す通常のゲームの他、特定の図柄が有効ラインに揃ったとき、ボーナスゲームと称される特別の遊技が開始されることになる。
このボーナスゲームにおいては、演出表示ランプの点滅と共に発音装置により音楽や電子音などの演奏などが行われ、比較的メダルの払出し率が高い特別遊技としての動作制御が行われることになる。

（制御機構）
そして、このスロットマシン100では、リールモータの駆動停止制御やメダルの払出しなど、ゲームの進行を制御するためのマイクロコンピュータを内蔵している。
このマイクロコンピュータを用いた制御機構は、図３に示すように、各種センサーやスイッチからの信号が入力されてリールモータなどを制御する主制御手段200を設け、又、ゲームの状態に合わせてスピーカなどの音響装置としての発音装置145や演出表示ランプ143又はゲーム状態表示ランプ135などのランプ類、更には補助リールや液晶表示板などの補助遊技演出装置147や演出表示ランプ143などによる演出を制御する補助制御手段270などを設けるように、マイクロコンピュータと他の機器とを接続して構成している。

（主制御手段）
この主制御手段200には、入賞制御手段210としての入賞抽選手段211や抽選結果判定手段213及び停止予定図柄格納手段219を備え、リール停止制御手段220としてのリール位置判別手段221や停止位置指定手段225、主遊技制御手段230としての一般遊技制御手段231や特別遊技制御手段233及び入賞判定手段235を備え、更に、動作制御手段240としてのリール駆動制御手段241やホッパー駆動制御手段245を備え、ゲームの進行に必須の制御を主制御手段200で行うことが多い。

（補助制御手段）
又、補助制御手段270は、音響制御手段273や照明制御手段271及び補助演出制御手段275を有し、主制御手段200の制御によるゲームの進行状態に合わせてスピーカなどの発音装置145を音響制御手段273により制御し、又、ゲーム状態に応じて演出を行う演出表示ランプ143を照明制御手段271により制御し、更に、補助演出制御手段275により液晶表示器や補助リールなどの補助遊技演出装置147を制御し、遊技者に遊技の進行をより楽しませる制御を行うことが多い。

（入力手段）
そして、この主制御手段200に信号を入力する入力手段としてのセンサーなどとしては、メダル投入口111に設けられて投入メダルの枚数を検出するメダルセンサー161、クレジットメダルボタン113に組み込まれてクレジットメダルから所要枚数の投入メダルを使用する際のクレジットメダルボタン113の操作を検出するメダルボタンセンサー163、スタートレバー115に組み込まれてスタートレバー115が操作されたことを検出するスタートスイッチ165、第１ストップボタン121や第２ストップボタン122及び第３ストップボタン123に各々組み込まれ、各ストップボタンが操作されたことを検出する第１ストップスイッチ171、第２ストップスイッチ172、及び、第３ストップスイッチ173、更に、クレジットメダルを払い出す払出しボタン117に組み込まれる払出しスイッチ167、又、リールユニットに設けられ、３個の主リールである第１リール乃至第３リールの各原点位置を検出する第１原点センサー176、第２原点センサー177、及び、第３原点センサー178などがある。

（出力装置）
そして、主制御手段200により駆動制御される出力装置としては、３個の主リールを各々個別に回転させる第１リールモータ181、第２リールモータ182、及び、第３リールモータ183、メダルの投入を促す投入指示ランプ120やスタートレバー115が操作可能であることを示すスタートランプ125、各ストップボタン121,122,123に組み込まれて各主リールを停止させるボタン操作を促す第１ストップランプ126、第２ストップランプ127、第３ストップランプ128、クレジットメダルの枚数を表示するクレジット枚数表示器137、クレジットメダルなどを払い出すホッパー装置185、ゲームの進行状態を表示するゲーム状態表示ランプ135、更に、投入枚数に応じた有効ラインを表示する有効ランプ133や補助制御手段270がある。

（動作制御）
そして、この主制御手段200による遊技の動作制御は、ゲームが終了して投入指示ランプ120が点灯している時にメダル投入口111に設けられたメダルセンサー161又はクレジットメダルボタン113に組み込まれたメダルボタンセンサー163によってメダルの投入が検出されると、主遊技制御手段230における一般遊技制御手段231又は特別遊技制御手段233により所定の有効ランプ133を点灯させると共にスタートレバー115の操作を促すスタートランプ125を点灯させてゲームの開始準備が行われる。

そして、スタートレバー115の操作をスタートレバー115に取り付けたスタートスイッチ165が検知したとき、動作制御手段240におけるリール駆動制御手段241によって第１リールモータ181乃至第３リールモータ183とされる全てのリールモータ181,182,183に駆動を開始させると共に、投入指示ランプ120やスタートランプ125を消灯して第１ストップランプ126乃至第３ストップランプ128を点灯させ、又、入賞制御手段210では入賞抽選手段211が乱数発生手段212から乱数を取り出す抽選を行い、抽選結果判定手段213により乱数発生手段212から取り出した数値と入賞判定テーブル214とを比較して入賞抽選を行い、この抽選結果による停止予定図柄を停止予定図柄格納手段219に記憶する。

又、第１ストップボタン121乃至第３ストップボタン123の内の何れかのストップボタンが操作されたとき、各ストップボタンに組み込まれた第１ストップスイッチ171や第２ストップスイッチ172又は第３ストップスイッチ173の内の操作されたストップボタンに組み込まれたスイッチから主制御手段200に入力される信号に基づき、当該ストップボタンに対応するストップランプを消灯し、且つ、検知信号を出力したストップスイッチに対応したリールモータをリール停止制御手段220によって停止させる。

このリール停止制御手段220による各リールモータの停止制御は、各ストップスイッチからの信号入力時にリール位置判別手段221によって例えば中央の入賞ラインを通過する図柄を先ず判別する。そして、停止予定図柄格納手段219に記憶された停止予定図柄が数コマ以内に存在するとき、この停止予定図柄を有効ライン上に停止させるように停止位置指定手段225に停止予定図柄を記憶し、又、数コマ以内に停止予定図柄が存在しないときは、他の入賞図柄組み合わせが発生しないように数コマ以内の図柄から停止図柄を定めて停止位置指定手段225にこの図柄を記憶する。更に、この停止位置指定手段225に記憶した図柄を有効ライン上に停止させるように、動作制御手段240のリール駆動制御手段241によって対応するリールモータの回転停止位置を制御するものである。

このようにして、第１ストップスイッチ171からの信号が主制御手段200に入力されると第１リールモータ181を停止させ、第２ストップスイッチ172からの信号が主制御手段200に入力されると第２リールモータ182を停止させ、第３ストップスイッチ173からの信号が主制御手段200に入力されると第３リールモータ183を停止させ、全てのリールモータが停止したとき、有効ライン上に停止した図柄の組み合わせが入賞図柄の組み合わせであるか否かの判定を入賞判定手段235で判定し、入賞図柄が揃っているときはホッパー駆動制御手段245によってホッパー装置185を駆動し、入賞に応じた所要枚数のメダルを払い出すか、主遊技制御手段230のクレジットメダルカウンタに払出し枚数の数値を加算し、図示していないクレジットメダルカウンタのカウント値をクレジット枚数表示器137に表示させるものである。

尚、リール位置判別手段221は、第１原点センサー176からの信号により第１リールの原点位置を検出し、第１リールモータ181に出力するパルス数によって第１リールの回転量、即ちリール窓131に表示される図柄を常に検出し、同様に、第２原点センサー177や第３原点センサー178からの信号によって原点位置を１回転毎に確認しつつ第２リールモータ182や第３リールモータ183に出力するパルス数によって第２リール及び第３リールの回転位置も常に検出しているものである。

又、クレジットメダルの枚数は、クレジット枚数表示器137に表示され、クレジットメダルボタン113を操作したときは投入枚数の数値を減算し、入賞によりメダルをクレジットする場合は払出し枚数を加算し、又、メダル投入口111から４枚以上のメダルが投入されたときは４枚目以降の枚数を加算するようにして、この数値をクレジット枚数表示器137に表示するものである。

そして、一般遊技中にビッグボーナスの特定図柄配列やレギュラーボーナスの特定図柄配列が有効ライン上に揃ったときは、以後、特別遊技制御手段233によって所定ゲーム回数の特別遊技を行い、特別遊技の進行状態をゲーム状態表示ランプ135の点灯によって表示し、特別遊技が終了すると一般遊技制御手段231により一般遊技のゲームを進行させるものである。

又、払出しボタン117が操作され、払出しボタン117に組み込まれた払出しスイッチ167からの信号が主制御手段200に入力されたときは、ホッパー駆動制御手段245がホッパー装置185を駆動し、クレジットメダルカウンタに記憶されている枚数のメダルを払い出すものである。
このように、今日のスロットマシン100では、スタートスイッチ165からの信号が主制御手段200に入力されたときに、入賞抽選手段211によって予め入賞又ははずれを抽選し、ストップスイッチが操作されたときから４コマ以内であればこの抽選結果の図柄を有効ライン上に停止させ、極力、入賞抽選手段211による抽選結果の入賞が得られるようにリールの停止制御を行い、投入メダルの枚数に対する払出しメダルの枚数を所定範囲の確率とするようにマイクロコンピュータで制御している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前述のように、スロットマシンには３個の主リールの停止位置によって入賞が決定され、メダルの払出しや特別遊技の開始が行われるも、スタートレバーの操作時に主制御手段としたマイクロコンピュータが行う抽選の結果が当選していなければ入賞ラインに入賞図柄が揃うことがないように制御されている。そして、このマイクロコンピュータの抽選は遊技者の技量に関係なく、主制御手段において全く自動的に行われるものであるため、この抽選の結果が当選の場合はともかく、抽選の結果がはずれの場合は、遊技者が回転しているリールの入賞図柄が有効ラインに位置するタイミングを狙ってストップボタンの操作を行っても狙った位置でリールを停止させることができない。このため、小役などのメダル払出し枚数の少ない入賞が時々発生する状態ではずれが続く場合は、面白味に欠けることがあった。

本発明は、このような欠点を排除し、操作スイッチの操作タイミングによっては、小役のみならず大当たりなどの入賞回数が多くなることもあるスロットマシンを提供することを目的としている。
又、他の目的としては、リールの回転に合わせたストップボタンの操作タイミングのみでなく、特定のタイミングを狙ったボタン操作などの操作スイッチの操作に興味を持たせて面白味を付加するスロットマシンを提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
（第１の発明）
第１の発明は、スタートレバー（115）やストップボタン（121,122,123）及びクレジットメダルボタン（113）などの操作スイッチと複数個の主リールとを備え、主制御手段（200）により主リールの回転及び停止を制御してゲームを行うスロットマシン（100）において、主制御手段（200）には入賞抽選手段（211）の他、短時間の特定タイミングを繰り返して形成する特定タイミング形成手段（215）と、遊技者による操作スイッチの操作タイミングが特定タイミングに該当したかどうかを判定するタイミング判定手段（216）とを有し、更に、入賞抽選手段（211）による抽選の結果とタイミング判定手段（216）での判定結果によって停止制御を切り換える停止制御決定手段（217）を有するスロットマシン（100）とするものである。

このように、本発明のスロットマシン（100）は特定タイミング形成手段（215）とタイミング判定手段（216）とを有し、入賞抽選手段（211）による抽選の結果とタイミング判定手段（216）の判定結果とにより停止制御を切り換える停止制御決定手段（217）を有するため、コンピュータが自動的に行う入賞抽選手段（211）による抽選結果の図柄と異なる図柄を有効ラインに揃える制御を行うことができる。

（特定タイミング形成手段）
この特定タイミング形成手段（215）は、カウンタを用い、０．数秒程度の特定タイミングを数秒乃至１０秒程度の間隔で繰り返して形成するものであり、一定間隔毎に０．数秒程度の特定タイミングを形成する場合や、間隔を変化させつつ０．数秒程度の特定タイミングを形成する場合がある。又、カウンタを内蔵する場合のみでなく、外部入力により０.１秒又は０．数秒程度の特定タイミングを形成することもある。

（タイミング判定手段）
そして、タイミング判定手段（216）は、操作スイッチの内、設定により定められた特定の操作スイッチの操作タイミングが、特定タイミング形成手段（215）により形成される特定タイミングに一致したかを判定するものである。
（停止制御決定手段）
更に、停止制御決定手段（217）による停止制御の切り換えは、通常のリールを停止させる際の停止制御では、リール停止制御手段（220）におけるリール位置判別手段（221）によってリールの位置を確認し、抽選結果の図柄を有効ラインに停止させるように停止位置指定手段（225）でリールの停止位置を定め、抽選結果の図柄を有効ラインに停止させることができない場合には、抽選結果以外の入賞図柄の組合せとならない図柄を有効ラインに停止させるように停止位置指定手段225でリールの停止位置を定めるように制御を行っているも、本発明ではタイミング判定手段（216）の判定結果により、通常のリール停止制御である抽選結果の図柄を極力有効ラインに停止させる制御を行うか否かを決定するものである。

（第２の発明）
そして、第２の発明は、停止制御決定手段（217）として、タイミング判定手段（216）の判定結果が特定タイミングに該当しないとされたときは、入賞抽選手段（211）の抽選結果が当選であっても、その当選を入賞させる図柄を有効ラインに停止させない停止制御を選択する停止制御決定手段（217）とするものである。

このように、タイミング判定手段（216）の判定結果が特定タイミングに該当しなかったときは、入賞抽選手段（211）の抽選結果が当選であっても、その当選を入賞させない制御に切り換えることにより、一定の払い出し確率とするための入賞抽選手段（211）の当選確率を高くすることができ、操作タイミングが特定タイミングに合った場合には入賞図柄を有効ラインに停止させることを容易とし、操作タイミングによっては入賞回数を多くすることができる。

尚、入賞抽選手段（211）の抽選結果が当選の場合にその当選を入賞させる図柄を有効ラインに停止させない制御としては、通常ははずれの図柄組合せとなる図柄を有効ラインに停止させる制御に切り換えるものである。
（第３の発明）
又、第３の発明としては、停止制御決定手段（217）として、タイミング判定手段（216）の判定結果が特定タイミングに該当しないとされ、停止制御を切り換えて入賞抽選手段（211）による抽選結果の当選入賞図柄を有効ラインから外すに際し、はずれの図柄を有効ラインに揃えるように図柄を組み合わせる場合のみでなく、操作タイミングが特定タイミングから外れていても、このずれが０．数秒以内のように小さい場合には、抽選結果の払出し枚数よりも少ない払出し枚数の入賞図柄を有効ラインにそろえる停止制御を選択するように切り換えるものである。

このように、停止制御決定手段（217）により抽選結果の払出し枚数よりも少ない払出し枚数の入賞図柄を有効ラインにそろえる停止制御に切り換えるようにすれば、払出し枚数の多い抽選結果の当選率を高くしつつ、払出し枚数の少ない入賞を数多く実現させることができる。
（第４の発明）
更に、第４の発明としては、特定タイミング形成手段（215）で特定タイミングを繰り返して形成するに際し、この特定タイミングを特定タイミング表示手段で表示させるようにするものである。

このように、本発明のスロットマシン（100）は特定タイミング表示手段により特定タイミング形成手段（215）で形成する特定タイミングを表示するゆえ、リールの回転停止とは異なる別の操作タイミングを遊技者に報知することができ、リールの停止操作以外にもタイミングに合わせた操作を行わせることができる。

（特定タイミング表示手段）
そして、この特定タイミング表示手段としては、スタートランプ（125）や投入指示ランプ（120）、ストップランプ（126、127、128）などを用い、スタートランプ（125）や投入指示ランプ（120）及びストップランプ（126、127、128）に限ることなく、補助遊技演出装置147や演出表示ランプ143、更には発音装置145などを用いて特定タイミングの表示を行うこともある。

（第５の発明）
そして、第５の発明は、特定タイミング表示手段としてスタートランプ（125）を用いるものである。
この特定タイミング表示手段としてスタートランプ（125）を用いる場合は、特定タイミング形成手段（215）によりスタートランプ（125）を点滅させ、タイミング判定手段（216）はスタートレバー（115）の操作がスタートランプ（125）の点灯時に行われたか否かを判定するスロットマシンとするものである。

このように、特定タイミング形成手段（215）によってスタートランプ（125）を点滅させるゆえ、スタートレバー（115）の操作タイミングを計って主リールの回転を開始させることにより、主リールの停止タイミングのみでなく、主リールの回転開始からゲームを楽しむことができる。
（第６の発明）
又、第６の発明は、特定タイミング表示手段として投入指示ランプ（120）を用いるものである。

この特定タイミング表示手段として投入指示ランプ（120）を用いる場合は、特定タイミング形成手段（215）により投入指示ランプ（120）を点滅させ、タイミング判定手段（216）はクレジットメダルボタン（113）の操作が投入指示ランプ（120）の点灯時に行われたか否かを判定するスロットマシンとするものである。

このように、特定タイミング形成手段（215）によって投入指示ランプ（120）を点滅させるゆえ、クレジットメダルの投入タイミングを計ってゲームを進行させることにより、主リールの停止タイミングのみでなく、メダルの投入時からゲームを楽しむことができる。
（第７の発明）
更に、第７の発明は、特定タイミング表示手段としてストップランプ（126、127、128）を用いるものである。

この特定タイミング表示手段としてストップランプ（126、127、128）を用いる場合は、特定タイミング形成手段（215）により第１ストップランプ（126）乃至第３ストップランプ（128）の内の何れかを点滅させ、タイミング判定手段（216）は点滅させているストップランプに対応するストップボタンの操作がストップランプの点灯時に行われたか否かを判定するスロットマシンとするものである。

このように、特定タイミング形成手段（215）によって第１ストップランプ（126）乃至第３ストップランプ（128）の内の何れかを点滅させるゆえ、遊技者が任意にストップボタンの操作を行うのではなく、特定のストップボタンを最初に操作するタイミングを計ることにより、遊技者にとってゲームの開始と思える主リールの停止操作を開始するに際して、一層ゲームに集中してゲームを楽しむことができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明に係るスロットマシン100は、図１に示すように、主制御手段200と補助制御手段270を備え、主制御手段200には、従来と同様に入賞制御手段210やリール停止制御手段220、更に主遊技制御手段230や動作制御手段240を有するものである。

（入賞制御手段）
そして、この入賞制御手段210には、従来と同様の入賞抽選手段211や抽選結果判定手段213を備えるほか、特定タイミング形成手段215やタイミング判定手段216、停止制御決定手段217を備えるものである。
この入賞抽選手段211は、乱数発生手段からスタートレバー115の操作時に乱数値を抜き出すものであり、抽選結果判定手段213は、この抜き出した乱数値と入賞判定テーブルとを比較して当選又ははずれを決定し、当選時には当選の種類も決定するものである。

（特定タイミング形成手段）
そして、特定タイミング形成手段215は、２秒前後の間隔で０.１秒乃至０.２秒程度の特定タイミングをタイマーカウンターにより形成し、この特定タイミングに合わせ、メダルが投入されて一般遊技制御手段231がスタートランプ125を点灯してゲーム開始の準備を行ったとき、スタートランプ125の点灯として、特定タイミングに合わせた瞬間的点灯を繰り返させるようにしてスタートランプ125を点滅させるものである。

（タイミング判定手段）
又、タイミング判定手段216は、スタートレバー115の操作タイミングが特定タイミング形成手段215で形成された特定タイミングに一致しているか否かの判定を行い、一致した場合は一致信号を停止制御決定手段217に出力するものである。

（停止制御決定手段）
更に、停止制御決定手段217は、多数の停止テーブルを記憶しており、スタートレバー115の操作タイミングが特定タイミングに一致していれば、抽選結果判定手段213の判定結果が当選の場合、判定結果に応じた入賞図柄の組合せを停止させる確率の高い停止テーブルを選択するも、スタートレバー115の操作タイミングが特定タイミングに一致していなければ、抽選結果判定手段213の判定結果が当選であっても入賞図柄の揃わない停止テーブルを選択するものである。

そして、タイミング判定手段216がスタートレバー115の操作タイミングがスタートランプ125の点灯時である特定タイミングに一致していると判断したときは、抽選結果判定手段213で判定された入賞の種類に応じた停止テーブルを停止制御決定手段217は選択するものである。
（リール停止制御）
この停止テーブルは、各リールのコマ番号ごとにリールの停止までの滑りコマ数を定めているものであり、リール停止制御手段220では、リール停止制御手段220のリール位置判別手段221によってストップボタンが操作されたときの対応する主リールの位置を検出し、このときのコマ番号によって停止位置指定手段225に滑りコマ数に応じた停止コマ位置を記憶するものである。

従って、主制御手段200の動作制御手段240は、リール停止制御手段220によってストップボタンが操作されたときの主リールの中央ラインを通過しようとするコマ番号を検出して停止コマ位置が定められ、停止テーブルに定められている所定の滑りコマ数だけ主リールを回転させた位置でその主リールを停止させ、所定の図柄を中央ラインに停止させるものである。
