Description
このような高含水バイオマスには、各種の物質、例えば、生ゴミ、下水汚泥、各種発酵残渣(アルコール発酵残渣、焼酎発酵残渣、しょう油発酵残渣、ビール発酵残渣等)、各種畜産廃棄物、各種バガス(サトウキビバガス、ブドウバガス等)が包含される。
図1は本発明の実施に用いる装置系統図の1例を示す。
図1において、1は反応容器、2は電気炉、3は撹拌器、4は窒素ガスボンベ、6、9はバルブ、pは圧力センサー、Tは温度センサーを示す。
通常の内容量100mlのステンレス製オートクレーブに、モデル生ゴミ20g(キャベツ:12g・ご飯:4g・バター:1g・煮干:1g・貝殻:2g)を投入する。表1に、用いたモデル生ゴミの特性を示す。オートクレーブを密閉後、窒素ガスによりオートクレーブ内の空気を除去し、初気圧20気圧にまで加圧する。ヒーターによりオートクレーブを150〜350℃にまで加温した。指定温度に到達後は、直ちに冷却し、生成ガスを回収後、オートクレーブを開ける。250℃の条件での0.5時間保持および350℃の条件で、1時間保持も併せて行った。得られた混合物を濾過することにより固体分として炭化物が得られる。表2に得られた成分の収率(有機物ベース)を示す。
従来法の炭化を行うため、モデル生ゴミ20gを還元雰囲気下、窒素ガスを100ml/minの流速で流しながら600℃まで加温し、その温度で1時間保持した。得られた固体成分は、収率30.2%であった。また、元素組成を分析したところ、C:69.6%、H:2.2%、N:3.6%、O:24.6%の炭化物であった。

Claims (1)
- 70%以上の含水率を有する高含水バイオマスから炭化物を製造する方法であって、該高含水バイオマスを、乾燥することなく、密閉された非酸化性ガスの雰囲気下で、初期圧を20〜30気圧に調整した後、100〜400℃に加熱することを特徴とする炭化物の製造方法。
