Claims (11)
- コネクタとパネルとの間でフローティング運動ができるようにパネル(14)の開口(12)を貫通させて取付ける電気コネクタ(10)であって、
前記パネルの第1の側(14a)から開口(12)を通りパネルの第2の側(14b)から突出する位置まで挿入可能な嵌合部(18)と、パネルの第1の側(14a)と係合する第1の突出部(20)とを備えたコネクタハウジング(16)と、
前記パネルの第2の側(14b)において嵌合部(18)の周りに位置決めされ、パネルの第2の側(14b)と係合する第2の突出部(24)を含む一体成形されたばね保持キャップ(22)であって、コネクタハウジングの嵌合部(18)がパネルの第1の側から開口(12)を貫通して差込まれたときにパネルの開口を通過することができるように寸法が決められ、前記第2の突出部(24)がパネルの開口(12)を通過してパネルの第2の側(14b)とスナップ式に係合し、コネクタ(10)の嵌合部(18)が開口(36)を滑らかに貫通する底壁(30)を含み、
ばね保持キャップとハウジングとに固定された両端(26a、26b)を備え、ハウジングの第1の突出部(20)及びばね保持キャップの第2の突出部(24)をパネルの第1及び第2の側(14a、14b)に向かって引張る引張りコイルばね(26)とを有する電気コネクタ。 - 前記引張りコイルばね(26)が、ハウジング(16)とばね保持キャップ(22)との間に引張り状態で張設されたコイルばねである、請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記ばね保持キャップ(22)が、前記引張りコイルばね(26)が配設される内部キャビティ(34)を形成する内側底壁(30)と側壁(32)とを画定するようにカップ型に形成された、請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記引張りコイルばね(26)の一端(26a)が、カップ型ばね保持キャップの内側底壁(30)に固定された、請求項3に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記第2の突出部(24)がばね保持キャップ(22)の圧縮可能部(40)上に設けられ、それにより、第2の突出部がパネルの開口(12)を通り抜けたときに第2の突出部が拡張してパネルの第2の側(14b)と係合する、請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記第1の突出部(20)が、コネクタハウジングの嵌合部(18)にプレス嵌めされた周辺フランジである、請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記第1の突出部(20)が、コネクタハウジングの嵌合部(18)と一体的で、かつ、該嵌合部(18)を取囲む周辺フランジである、請求項1に記載の電気コネクタ。
- コネクタとパネルとの間でフローティング運動ができるようにパネル(14)の開口(12)を貫通させて取付ける電気コネクタ(10)であって、
前記パネルの第1の側(14a)から開口(12)を通りパネルの第2の側(14b)から突出する位置まで挿入可能な嵌合部(18)と、パネルの第1の側(14a)と係合する第1の突出部(20)とを含むコネクタハウジング(16)と、
前記パネルの第2の側(14b)において嵌合部(18)の周りに位置決めされ、パネルの第2の側(14b)と係合する第2の突出部(24)を含む一体成形されたばね保持キャップ(22)であって、内部キャビティ(34)を形成する内側底壁(30)と側壁(32)とを画定するようにカップ型に形成され、コネクタの嵌合部(18)が底壁に設けられた開口(36)を滑らかに貫通し、コネクタハウジングの嵌合部(18)がパネルの第1の側(14a)から開口(12)を貫通して差込まれたときにパネルの開口(12)を通過することができるように寸法が決められており、第2の突出部(24)がばね保持キャップの圧縮可能部(40)に配設され、それにより、第2の突出部(24)がパネルの開口(12)を通り抜けたときに第2の突出部が拡張してパネルの第2の側(14b)と係合するばね保持キャップと、
ハウジング上の第1の突出部(20)及びばね保持キャップの第2の突出部(24)をパネルの第1及び第2の側(14a、14b)に向かって引張るために、ハウジングとばね保持キャップとの間に引張り状態で張設され、ばね保持キャップの内側底壁(30)とハウジングとに固定された両端(26a、26b)を含むコイルばね(26)とを含む電気コネクタ。 - 前記第1の突出部(20)が、コネクタハウジングの嵌合部(18)にプレス嵌めされた周辺フランジである、請求項8に記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記第1の突出部(20)が、コネクタハウジングの嵌合部(18)と一体的で、かつ、該嵌合部(18)を取囲む周辺フランジである、請求項8に記載の電気コネクタ。
- ばね保持キャップの前記圧縮可能部(40)に切込みが入れられて可撓性フィンガが画定され、可撓性フィンガの内の少なくともいくつかに設けられたフランジ手段(42)によって前記第2の突出部(24)が提供される、請求項8に記載の電気コネクタ。
