Claims (3)
- 光ファイバ母材を使用する光ファイバ製造工程で、前記光ファイバ母材の終端を加熱し溶融させて線引きを行う光ファイバ線引き方法において、
光ファイバの線引き方向に交差する予め設定された方向で、引き出される光ファイバに一定の1次スピンを与える1次スピン形成過程と、
所定のスピン関数により、前記1次スピンが与えられた光ファイバに追加的な2次スピンを与える2次スピン形成過程と、を含むことを特徴とする光ファイバ線引き方法。 - 光ファイバに与える1次及び2次スピンのスピン数が相互に異なる請求項1記載の光ファイバ線引き方法。
- 光ファイバ母材を使用する光ファイバ製造工程で、前記光ファイバ母材端部を溶融させて光ファイバを引き出す光ファイバ線引き方法において、
引き出される光ファイバに対し、数式1(式中、S(z)はスピン関数、α0はスピン振幅、f0 は中心周波数、nはスピン方向、αは任意の定数)を利用して、予め設定された一定周期の1次スピンを与えるとともに該1次スピンの形成された光ファイバに正弦関数に従うスピン関数で変調する2次スピンを与えることを特徴とする光ファイバ線引き方法。
