Description
保護管部分の第四の欠点は、管部分の内径がワイヤーの区部分化を行う方法に制限を課す点である。
図1aにて理解し得るように、スロット11は、コアワイヤー1の基端方向に伸びて、ケーブル14が静止するより浅いリセス部16内に変容する。スロット11及びリセス部16は、コイル15を取り付けたとき、該コイル15が傷付き易いケーブル14を妨害したり又は傷付けないような形態とされている。この比較的浅いリセス部16は、コアワイヤー1内に機械加工された棚状部分17により画成される。この棚状部分17を設ける主な理由は、スロット11が比較的浅いリセス部16の末端よりもコアワイヤー1の基端方向により遠方に伸びるならば、コアワイヤー1の拡張部分10の強度が部分Bと部分Cとの間の遷移部分にて不十分となるからである。
図2には、更なる凹み部又はリセス部19が拡張部分10の底部に形成された本発明の1つの実施の形態が図示されている。このリセス部19の目的は、コアワイヤー1が部分A−B−Cの領域、特に、これら部分間の遷移部分にて曲がるならば、拡張部分10の応力により発生されるであろう、任意の機械的応力がセンサの末端の圧力感知部分に加わらないことを確実にすることである。
Claims (14)
- 末端と、基端と、基端にある拡張部分とを有し、該拡張部分にスロット(11)形態のセンサ取付け部材を設けられたコアワイヤー(1)と、
該コアワイヤーの前記拡張部分のセンサ取付け部材に設けられたセンサ(12)とを有するセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、
前記センサ取付け部材は実質的に円筒状部材を備え、前記スロット(11)は該円筒状部材の中に形成されて前記センサを収容し得るようにされ、
前記スロット(11)内の側壁は、機械的干渉から前記センサを十分に保護するために該センサ(12)の上面の上方を一定の距離伸びることを特徴とするセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。 - 請求項1に記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、前記スロット(11)は、50乃至250μmの幅及び深さ寸法を有し、長さ寸法が50乃至2500μmである、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。
- 請求項1に記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、シリコンゴム、ラテックス及びその他のポリマー材料から成る群から選んだ柔軟な材料内に前記センサを埋め込むことにより、該センサが所定の位置に固着される、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。
- 請求項1に記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、さらに凹み部(19)がセンサ(12)の末端の直下において前記拡張部分(10)の底部に形成され、これにより任意の機械的応力がセンサの末端の圧力感知部分に加わらないようにした、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。
- 請求項1に記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、前記センサが取り付けられる前記スロットが、前記拡張部分を貫通して伸びる、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。
- 請求項1に記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、該コアワイヤーの長さの少なくとも一部に亙って前記コアワイヤーを包み込む管(2)であって、前記コアワイヤー(1)が該管の末端から外に伸び、前記センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリを動脈内に挿入し且つ身体内の測定箇所まで進め得る形態とされた管を備える、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。
- 請求項6に記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、前記管(2)の基端に向けた方向に前記管の少なくとも一部分を貫通して前記センサから伸びるワイヤー(14)と、
前記管の内径と実質的に等しい外径を有する管部分(24)であって、前記コアワイヤーを前記管内の所定の位置に固着し得るように前記コアワイヤーと前記管との間にて前記管と締り嵌め状態に配置され、前記管の前記部分を貫通して前記ワイヤーが通るのを許容する形態とされた前記管部分とを備える、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。 - 請求項7に記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、前記管部分の一部分が、該管の前記末端から外に伸び、前記管の前記末端から外に伸びる前記管部分の前記部分に取り付けられたコイル(15)を更に備え、前記管部分が該管の外径に実質的に等しい外径を有する、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。
- 請求項6に記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、前記コアワイヤーが、締り嵌め状態に前記管に取り付けられ、前記コアワイヤーの外径が前記管の内径に略等しいようにする、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。
- 請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載のセンサ及びコアガイドアセンブリにおいて、前記コアワイヤーが前記ワイヤーを受け入れる長手方向リセス部(28)を有する、センサ及びコアガイドアセンブリ。
- 請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、前記コアワイヤーが前記ワイヤーを受け入れる平坦面(30)を有する、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。
- 請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、前記管の末端から外に伸びる前記コアワイヤーの一部分に取り付けられたコイル(8)を更に備える、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。
- 請求項6に記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、前記コアワイヤーが、前記管に螺着可能に係合し、前記コアワイヤーが、前記管の前記末端に形成されたら旋状構造体と相補的な雄ねじを有し、前記管の前記ら旋状構造体が前記コアワイヤーの前記ねじの少なくとも幾つかと螺着可能に係合する、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。
- 請求項13に記載のセンサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリにおいて、前記コアワイヤーの前記ねじの末端のねじと螺着可能に係合するコイル巻き線を有するコイルを更に備える、センサ及びガイドワイヤーアセンブリ。
