Claims (1)
- ハウジングと、該ハウジングに形成されたプランジャ収容孔に摺動自在に挿入される底付き中空円筒状のプランジャと、該プランジャを一方の端部が前記ハウジングの外部に突出する方向に付勢するプランジャ付勢用ばねと、前記プランジャ収容孔と前記プランジャとによって形成される高圧油室と、前記ハウジングに組み込まれ前記高圧油室に油を流入させ逆流を阻止するチェックバルブとを備える油圧式チェーンテンショナにおいて、
前記プランジャの外周面に環状溝を形成し、樹脂製リングと該樹脂製リングの内側に組み込んだ鋼製リングとから構成される摩擦リングが前記環状溝内に所定の軸方向クリアランスをもって嵌め込まれ、前記摩擦リングが前記プランジャとともに前記プランジャ収容孔に挿入されたとき前記樹脂製リングの外周面が前記プランジャ収容孔の内周面に圧接されていることを特徴とする油圧式チェーンテンショナ。
