Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a gas component measuring method and apparatus, and more particularly to a gas component measuring method and apparatus capable of measuring a component ratio of a mixed gas obtained by mixing a plurality of chemical species.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, the demand for pure gas has increased.
[0003]
For example, a fuel cell is attracting attention as a clean energy source, but pure hydrogen and oxygen are required as fuel. Hydrogen and oxygen are produced by electrolyzing water, but it is unavoidable that oxygen is mixed into hydrogen in the production process, and conversely, hydrogen is mixed into oxygen.
[0004]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, various gas sensors such as a new ceramic sensor and a solid electrolytic sensor are known for measuring the concentration of other gases mixed in a certain chemical species gas in the order of ppm.

[Patent Document 2]

[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the gas that can be detected by the new ceramic sensor is limited to combustible gas. Further, only oxygen can be detected by the solid electrolytic sensor, and the detectable gas is limited.
[0009]
Furthermore, the invention disclosed in
[0010]
The invention disclosed in Patent Document 2 performs mass spectrometry after ionizing a gas to be measured, and is applicable to gases of various chemical species, but from the gas flowing into the ionization section and the ionization section Since it is necessary to control the flow rate of the flowing out gas, it is inevitable that the apparatus becomes large-scale.
[0011]
This invention is made | formed in view of the said subject, Comprising: It aims at providing the gas component measuring method and apparatus which can measure the concentration ratio of the mixed gas containing several chemical species.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The first invention irradiates a mixed gas of at least two chemical species with laser light, detects the intensity of Raman scattered light emitted from each of the at least two chemical species, and mixes the intensity of Raman scattered light It correct | amends with the pressure of gas and calculates the concentration ratio of the at least 2 types of chemical species which comprise mixed gas based on the corrected Raman scattered light intensity | strength.
[0013]
In the present invention, the gas mixture is irradiated with laser light, and the intensity ratio of the Raman scattered light emitted by the chemical species contained in the gas mixture is corrected by the pressure of the gas mixture to determine the concentration ratio of the gas mixture.
[0014]
In the second invention, mixing is performed based on the ratio of the intensity of Raman scattered light emitted from another scientific species to the intensity of Raman scattered light emitted from one of the at least two kinds of chemical species constituting the mixed gas. The gas concentration ratio is calculated.
[0015]
In the present invention, the concentration ratio of the mixed gas is determined by the ratio of the intensity of the Raman scattered light.
[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram of a first gas component measuring apparatus, and an
[0017]
The
[0018]
When the mixed gas is irradiated with laser light, electrons in the gas molecules are vibrated at the same frequency as that of the irradiated light, and the laser light is scattered.
[0019]
When the polarizability fluctuates periodically (subject to Raman shift) due to vibration and rotational motion in the molecule, the wavelength of the scattered light deviates from the wavelength of the laser light.
[0020]
The amount of deviation (Raman shift amount) is determined according to the chemical species of the mixed gas.
[0021]
[Table 1] shows Raman shift amounts of typical chemical species when laser light having a wavelength of 532 nm is irradiated.
[0022]
[Table 1]
[0023]
In addition, it is known that the intensity of Raman scattered light having a wavelength specific to the chemical species constituting the mixed gas is proportional to the concentration of the chemical species contained in the mixed gas and the pressure of the mixed gas. Therefore, it is advantageous to apply the gas component measuring device according to the present invention to pressurized gas (for example, 10 kg / cm 2 ).

In order to detect Raman scattered light, a condenser lens 13 is disposed outside the

From this graph, it can be seen that the divider output is constant regardless of the pressure and is proportional to the concentration ratio of oxygen and hydrogen. However, as in this example, when a small amount of oxygen is mixed in hydrogen, the hydrogen concentration can be regarded as constant, so the output of the

As shown in the cross-sectional view (b) of the light scatter preventer, the light scatter preventer 81 (and 82) is a hollow cylinder with a bottom, and has irregularities formed on the inner wall. The incident light is diffusely reflected by the unevenness of the inner wall and attenuated, and does not go out of the light scattering preventer.

That is, since the laser beam is repeatedly reflected by the first and second concave mirrors to increase the intensity, the intensity of the Raman scattered light emitted from the gas also increases. On the other hand, since the entire amount of Raman scattered light is radiated from the first
[0073]
It is obvious that the configuration of the fifth gas component measuring device can be applied to the first to third gas component measuring devices.
[0074]
As already described, since the intensity of Raman scattered light is proportional to the pressure of the gas, the present invention is particularly advantageous for measuring the components of a pressurized gas.
[0075]
Although the present invention can detect the concentration of the mixed gas in the order of ppm by measuring the Raman diffused light intensity of the mixed gas, it is also necessary to measure the Raman scattered light intensity of the mixed gas at the same time.
[0076]
As already described, the intensity of the Raman scattered light is proportional to the gas concentration, but the Raman scattered light intensity of the mixed gas and the Raman scattered light intensity of the mixed gas are 1 million times different.
[0077]
Although it is difficult to correct an intensity difference of 1 million times in the electrical signal output from the light receiving device, the thickness and number of layers of the dielectric film coated on the optical filter disposed in front of the light receiving device are controlled. It goes without saying that the intensity difference can be corrected by doing so.
[0078]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first invention, it is possible to measure the concentration of the chemical species in the order of ppm by correcting the intensity of the Raman scattered light emitted from the chemical species contained in the mixed gas with the pressure of the mixed gas.
[0079]
According to the second invention, it is possible to determine the concentration ratio by the ratio of the Raman scattered light intensity of other chemical species to the Raman scattered light intensity emitted by one chemical species contained in the mixed gas.
