Description
(a)パルスレーザ及び/又は連続波レーザを出力し、レーザパルスエネルギー、レーザビーム品質、レーザパルス幅、レーザ周波数及びレーザ波長からなる群から選ばれた1又は複数のパラメータを調整可能な第1のレーザ発振手段、及び/又は
(b)パルスレーザ及び/又は連続波レーザを出力し、レーザ周波数及びレーザ波長調整可能な第2のレーザ発振手段、
(c)レーザ伝送手段、並びに
(d)レーザ照射手段
を備えたことを特徴とする液中地層の掘削装置である。

となる。ここで、Pはレーザ出力(W)、Eはパルスエネルギー(J)、νは繰り返し周波数である。レーザ出力Pを増加するためには、パルスエネルギーEを増加するか、繰り返し周波数νを増加するかいずれかの手段により達成することができる。
ここで、Fはフルエンス(J/cm2)、Eはパルスエネルギー(J)、Sは面積(cm2)である。
ここで、Iはレーザ強度(W/cm2)、tはパルス幅(sec)である。
ここで、D0はレンズ上のレーザビーム径(半径)、fはレンズの集光距離、λはレーザ波長、M2はビーム品質の評価に使用する特性値である。

Claims (12)
- 液中でのレーザ照射により発生する第1のレーザの誘起力及び/又は液中でのレーザ照射により発生した気泡中を透過する第2のレーザの熱作用により、液中の地層を掘削することを特徴とする液中地層の掘削方法。
- 前記第1のレーザの誘起力は、衝撃波、ジェット流、気泡流若しくは音波、又はこれらの2以上に基づく作用力であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の液中地層の掘削方法。
- 前記第1のレーザは、パルスレーザ又は断続照射された連続波レーザであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の液中地層の掘削方法。
- 前記第2のレーザは、パルスレーザ及び/又は連続波レーザであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の液中地層の掘削方法。
- 前記第1のレーザは、固体レーザであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の液中地層の掘削方法。
- 前記第2のレーザは、固体レーザであることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の液中地層の掘削方法。
- パルスレーザ及び/又は連続波レーザを出力し、レーザパルスエネルギー、レーザビーム品質、レーザパルス幅、レーザ周波数及びレーザ波長からなる群から選ばれた1又は複数のパラメータを調整可能な第1のレーザ発振手段、及び/又はパルスレーザ及び/又は連続波レーザを出力し、レーザ周波数及びレーザ波長調整可能な第2のレーザ発振手段と、レーザ伝送手段と、レーザ照射手段とを備えたことを特徴とする液中地層の掘削装置。
- さらに、レーザ波長変換手段及び/又はレーザパルス圧縮手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項7記載の液中地層の掘削装置。
- 前記レーザ発振手段を空洞内パイプ中に配設したことを特徴とする請求項7又は8記載の液中地層の掘削装置。
- レーザ発振手段とレーザ照射手段からなるレーザビットを、空洞内パイプ中の先端に配設しことを特徴とする請求項7〜9の何れかに記載の液中地層の掘削装置。
- 前記レーザビットは、レーザ波長変換手段及び/又はレーザパルス圧縮手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項10記載の液中地層の掘削装置。
- 前記レーザ伝送手段は、単一ファイバと複数のファイバとから成り中間にレーザ入射手段を有するファイバ、複数の単一ファイバ、マルチコアファイバ又はバンドルファイバを備えたことを特徴とする請求項7〜11の何れかに記載の液中地層の掘削装置。
