Description
請求項1に記載する液晶表示装置のバックライトモジュールは、互いに対向する第1表面及び第2表面並びに互いに対向する第3表面及び第4表面を有する板状のライトガイドと、該ライトガイドの第3表面側に設けられ、光線を該ライトガイドに入射させる光源と、該ライトガイドの第1表面上に設けられ、該ライトガイドの第1表面から照射される光線を均一に分布させる第1光学フィルムと、該ライトガイドの第2表面上に設けられ、該ライトガイドの第2表面から照射される光線を均一に分布させる第2光学フィルムとを含んでなり、該第1光学フィルムに第1液晶表示パネルを貼着し、該第2光学フィルムに第2液晶パネルを貼着し、該ライトガイドの第4表面に第3液晶表示パネルを貼着してなる構成を採る。
係る構成の液晶表示装置のバックライトモジュールについて、その構造と特徴を詳述するために具体的な実施例を挙げ、以下に説明する。

Claims (6)
- 互いに対向する第1表面及び第2表面並びに互いに対向する第3表面及び第4表面を有する板状のライトガイドと、
該ライトガイドの第3表面側に設けられ、光線を該ライトガイドに入射させる光源と、
該ライトガイドの第1表面上に設けられ、該ライトガイドの第1表面から照射される光線を均一に分布させる第1光学フィルムと、
該ライトガイドの第2表面上に設けられ、該ライトガイドの第2表面から照射される光線を均一に分布させる第2光学フィルムとを含んでなり、
該第1光学フィルムに第1液晶表示パネルを貼着し、該第2光学フィルムに第2液晶パネルを貼着し、該ライトガイドの第4表面に第3液晶表示パネルを貼着することを特徴とする液晶表示装置のバックライトモジュール。 - 前記光学フィルムが第1拡散フィルムと、第1増光フィルムと、第2増光フィルムと、第2拡散フィルムとを積層してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記第4表面に反射フィルムを貼着することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記第1表面に反射フィルムを貼着し、前記第2表面の前記第4表面に隣接する一部領域に反射フィルムを貼着することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記第1表面の前記第3表面に隣接する一部領域に反射フィルムを貼着し、前記第2表面の前記第4表面に隣接する一部領域に反射フィルムを貼着することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置のバックライトモジュール。
- 前記第1表面に反射フィルムを貼着し、前記第2表面に半透明性の反射フィルムを貼着することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の液晶表示装置のバックライトモジュール。
