Description
本発明に係る親水処理剤を使用して便器表面を親水化処理し、その親水化性能及び防汚性について評価を行なった。具体的には、芳香族スルホン酸系ホルマリン縮合物として、ナフタレンスルホン酸塩ホルマリン縮合物及びメラミンスルホン酸塩ホルマリン縮合物の2種類を使用し、これを水に溶解させて2ppmおよび10ppm濃度の水溶液を調製した。
表1に示す11種類の試験液を使用して便器の親水化処理を行なった。具体的には、INAX製便器を2×3cmにカットしたテストパネルに各試験液を塗布し、室温にて30分間乾燥させる工程を3回繰返し、テストパネル表面がコーティングされた状態とした。
(1)親水化性能の評価
上記親水化処理後のテストパネルを用い、その表面に蒸留水を着滴させたときの水滴の接触角を接触角計(協和界面化学社製cax−150)により測定し、パネル表面の親水化の程度を評価した。結果を表2に示す。
上記試験液をトイレ用防汚洗浄剤として使用したときの防汚性について評価した。具体的には、トイレタンク内に上記試験液を収容し、フラッシュして30分間室温で乾燥させる工程を3回繰返し、便器表面がコーティングされた状態にする。
◎:汚れが付いていない。
○:汚れが僅かに付いている。
△:汚れが少し付いている。
×:汚れがかなり付いている。
表2より、本発明品で処理したいずれのテストパネルも、水の接触角が30°未満であり、親水化処理によりテストパネル表面が良好に親水化されているのが確認された。実際に、便器を使用した防汚性評価試験においても、表3に示すように、本発明品についてはいずれも防汚性は良好で、パネル表面に付着した汚垢をきれいに除去することが可能であるという結果が得られた。特に、ナフタレンスルホン酸塩ホルマリン縮合物とα−オレフィンスルホン酸ナトリウムとを併用した本発明品5及び6は、防汚性が相乗的に高くなっている。
各試料の処方を表4に記す。表中、芳香族スルホン酸系ホルマリン縮合物としては、実施例1で用いたナフタレンスルホン酸塩ホルマリン縮合物と、メラミンスルホン酸塩ホルマリン縮合物の2種類を用い、洗浄成分として洗浄力と持続性とを考慮してアニオン界面活性剤とノニオン界面活性剤とを併用した。
トイレタンクの放水タップの下に表4で作製したトイレ用防汚洗浄剤を配し、タップから放出された水がトイレ用防汚洗浄剤に接触するようにセットした。次に、タンク内の水をフラッシュしてトイレ用防汚洗浄剤を溶解させ、タンク内に防汚洗浄剤の水溶液(およそ10〜15ppm)が貯蔵されるようにした。
表4より、芳香族スルホン酸系ホルマリン縮合物を配合した本発明品7〜16はいずれも防汚性が○以上となっているのに対して、芳香族スルホン酸系ホルマリン縮合物を配合しない比較品6〜14はいずれも防汚性は×となった。
Claims (4)
- 芳香族スルホン酸系ホルマリン縮合物を含有する親水処理剤(但し、塩素剤を含有するトイレ用洗浄剤を除く)を固体表面にコーティングした後、前記固体表面に付着した汚れを前記親水処理剤を含有する洗浄液で洗い流すことを特徴とする防汚洗浄方法。
- 芳香族スルホン酸系ホルマリン縮合物を含有する親水処理剤(但し、塩素剤を含有するトイレ用洗浄剤を除く)を便器表面にコーティングした後、前記便器表面に付着した汚れを前記親水処理剤を含有する洗浄液で洗い流すことを特徴とするトイレ便器の防汚洗浄方法。
- 前記芳香族スルホン酸系ホルマリン縮合物が、ナフタレンスルホン酸ホルマリン縮合物の水溶性塩又はメラミンスルホン酸ホルマリン縮合物の水溶性塩であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の防汚洗浄方法。
- 前記親水処理剤が、さらに界面活性剤を含有することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の防汚洗浄方法。
