Description
上記の各発明では、伝熱管(40)とフィン(30)とが吸着熱交換器(20)に設けられる。フィン(30)の表面には、吸着剤が担持されている。フィン(30)表面の吸着剤は、吸着熱交換器(20)を通過する空気と接触する。尚、この吸着熱交換器(20)では、フィン(30)の表面だけに吸着剤を担持させてもよいし、例えばフィン(30)の表面と伝熱管(40)の表面に吸着剤を担持させてもよい。吸着熱交換器(20)は、空気流の上流側に位置する部分が上流側部分(26)となり、空気流の下流側に位置する部分が下流側部分(27)となっている。吸着熱交換器(20)を通過する空気は、先ず上流側部分(26)においてフィン(30)表面の吸着剤と接触し、その後、下流側部分(27)においてフィン(30)表面の吸着剤と接触する。
本発明の実施形態1について説明する。本実施形態の調湿装置は、除湿した空気を室内へ供給する除湿運転と、加湿した空気を室内へ供給する加湿運転とが可能に構成されている。
上記調湿装置では、除湿運転と加湿運転とが可能である。この調湿装置は、除湿運転中と加湿運転中の何れにおいても、第1動作と第2動作を所定の時間間隔(例えば5分間隔)で交互に繰り返す。
本実施形態の調湿装置において、第1吸着部材(11)や第2吸着部材(12)を構成する吸着熱交換器(20)のフィン(30)表面には、空気流の上流側から下流側へ向かって順に第1吸着層(36)と第2吸着層(37)と第3吸着層(38)とが形成されている。そして、上記吸着熱交換器(20)では、吸着層(36,37,38)における吸着剤の質量割合が第1吸着層(36)、第2吸着層(37)、第3吸着層(38)の順に大きくなっている。また、上記吸着熱交換器(20)では、吸着層(36,37,38)におけるバインダの質量割合が第1吸着層(36)、第2吸着層(37)、第3吸着層(38)の順に小さくなっており、吸着剤であるゼオライト粒子の表面のうち空気と接触可能な部分の面積が第1吸着層(36)、第2吸着層(37)、第3吸着層(38)の順に大きくなっている。
上記吸着熱交換器(20)では、各吸着層(36,37,38)の厚みを相違させることによって、各吸着層(36,37,38)における吸着剤の量を相違させてもよい。この場合、吸着層(36,37,38)の厚みは、第1吸着層(36)、第2吸着層(37)、第3吸着層(38)の順に大きくなる。上述のように、吸着層(36,37,38)に含まれる吸着剤の量が多いほど、吸着層(36,37,38)の吸着能力は高くなる。従って、本変形例においても、各吸着層(36,37,38)に吸着される水分量を平均化することが可能である。
上記吸着熱交換器(20)では、第1吸着層(36)及び第2吸着層(37)に設けられた吸着剤の量が等しくなり、第3吸着層(38)に設けられた吸着剤の量が第1吸着層(36)や第2吸着層(37)における吸着剤の量に比べて多くなっていてもよい。本変形例の吸着熱交換器(20)においても、下流側部分(27)に位置するフィン(30)表面上の第3吸着層(38)には、上流側部分(26)に位置するフィン(30)表面上の第1吸着層(36)に比べて多量の吸着剤が設けられる。
本発明の実施形態2について説明する。本実施形態は、上記実施形態1の調湿装置において、吸着熱交換器(20)の構成を変更したものである。
上記吸着熱交換器(20)では、第1吸着層(36)及び第2吸着層(37)に同じ物質を吸着剤として設け、第1吸着層(36)や第2吸着層(37)の吸着剤とは異なる物質を吸着剤として第3吸着層(38)に設けてもよい。例えば、第1吸着層(36)及び第2吸着層(37)にゼオライトを吸着剤として設け、第3吸着層(38)にシリカゲルを吸着剤として設けてもよい。本変形例の吸着熱交換器(20)においても、下流側部分(27)に位置するフィン(30)表面上の第3吸着層(38)には、上流側部分(26)に位置するフィン(30)表面上の第1吸着層(36)に比べて静的性能の高い吸着剤が設けられる。
上記の各実施形態では、吸着熱交換器(20)の構成が次のようなものであってもよい。
上記吸着熱交換器(20)では、各列部分(21,22,23)ごとにフィン(30)が分断されていてもよい。
上記吸着熱交換器(20)では、管列(41,42,43)が三つ設けられているが、吸着熱交換器(20)に設けられる管列の数はこれに限定される訳ではない。

Claims (6)
- 内部を熱媒体が流通する伝熱管(40)と表面に吸着剤が担持されるフィン(30)とを備え、通過する空気を上記フィン(30)に担持された吸着剤と接触させる吸着熱交換器であって、
上記吸着熱交換器のうち空気流の上流側に位置する部分が上流側部分(26)を、下流側に位置する部分が下流側部分(27)をそれぞれ構成し、
上流側部分(26)と下流側部分(27)とでフィン(30)に担持された吸着剤の量を相違させることにより、上流側部分(26)から下流側部分(27)にかけてのフィン(30)に対する水分の吸着量を平均化している吸着熱交換器。 - 内部を熱媒体が流通する伝熱管(40)と表面に吸着剤が担持されるフィン(30)とを備え、通過する空気を上記フィン(30)に担持された吸着剤と接触させる吸着熱交換器であって、
上記吸着熱交換器のうち空気流の上流側に位置する部分が上流側部分(26)を、下流側に位置する部分が下流側部分(27)をそれぞれ構成し、
フィン(30)の表面には吸着剤とバインダの混合物からなる吸着層(36,38)が形成される一方、
上流側部分(26)と下流側部分(27)とで上記吸着層(36,38)における吸着剤とバインダの質量割合を相違させることにより、上流側部分(26)から下流側部分(27)にかけてのフィン(30)に対する水分の吸着量を平均化している吸着熱交換器。 - 内部を熱媒体が流通する伝熱管(40)と、該伝熱管(40)に取り付けられると共に表面に吸着剤が担持されるフィン(30)とを備え、通過する空気を上記フィン(30)に担持された吸着剤と接触させる吸着熱交換器であって、
上記吸着熱交換器のうち空気流の上流側に位置する部分が上流側部分(26)を、下流側に位置する部分が下流側部分(27)をそれぞれ構成し、
上記フィン(30)の表面には吸着剤を有する吸着層(36,38)が形成される一方、
