Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 技術分野 本発明は、板紙または板紙と同様に折り曲げ得るシー
ト材料から形成され、かつ、複数列に並べられた複数の
容器を収容する巻き付け型（wraparound type）カート
ンに適用されるキール構造に関する。
背景技術 巻付け型カートンに使用されるキール構造は、通常、
ある容器列を他の容器列から分離するように配された一
つの連続的に延びるキールエレメントまたは複数のキー
ルエレメントからなる。
発明の開示 本発明のキール構造は後者のタイプに属する複数のキ
ールエレメントからなる。各キールエレメントは、一対
の互いに離間した直立板を有する。各直立板はカートン
内の容器に当接する。両直立板はプラットホーム板を挟
んで対向する。プラットホーム板は各直立板に連結され
ている。その連結のされかたは、各直立板がこれと対を
なすもう一方の直立板の方へ凹むことができるような連
結のされかたである。これにより各キールエレメントの
近傍の容器の容器壁がそのキールエレメントの凹みにぴ
ったり嵌まり込むように係合する。
本発明によれば、各キールエレメントのプラットホー
ム板は互いに離れた二つの連結部を介して各直立板に折
り曲げ自在に連結されており、プラットホーム板のその
他の箇所は各直立板と分離されている。プラットホーム
板はその両側の直立板を連結してブリッジ構造を形成す
る。一方の直立板は、この一方の直立板とプラットホー
ム板との間の二つの連結部の間に延在して、キールエレ
メントの可撓面を形成する。他方の直立板はその直立板
とプラットホーム板との間の二つの連結部の外方へ延在
して、前記可撓面と向き合う第二の可撓面を形成する。
他方の直立板は、全てのキールエレメントに共通な一枚
の連続的なパネルであるのが好ましい。この場合、他方
の直立板はカートンを形成するブランクの一方の端部に
配される。
プラットホーム板は他方の直立板から切り出されるの
が好ましい。
両直立板はカートンの底部パネルから切り出され、ま
た、前記プラットホーム板は直立板のどちらか一方から
切り出されるのが好ましい。
プラットホーム板は湾曲した両側縁を有する。これら
の側縁は互いの方向へ湾曲しているのが好ましい。
両直立板のうちの少なくとも一方は、プラットホーム
板の湾曲した側縁の近傍において、湾曲しやすいように
二つ以上の部分に分離されるのが好ましい。
図面の簡単な説明 第１図は本発明に基づくキール構造を有するカートン
ブランクの平面図、第1a図は第１図のブランクの一部を
示す拡大平面図、第２図は第１図のブランクから形成さ
れたカートンをその一方の端部から見た部分斜視図、第
３図は第１図に示される仕切板と異なる仕切板を有する
カートンブランクの部分平面図、第４図は第３図のブラ
ンクから立ち上げられたキール構造を示す部分斜視図で
ある。
発明を実施するための最良の形態 まず第１図に基づいて説明すると、ブランク10は巻き
付け型のカートンを形成するためのブランクであって、
板紙または板紙同様に折り曲げ得る材料により形成され
ている。キール構造Ｋは、ブランク10の両端に配された
一対の底部パネルの一方に一列に並んで設けられてい
る。ブランク10は互いに連結された一連のパネル、すな
わち、第一底部パネル12、第一側部パネル14、頂部パネ
ル16、第二側部パネル18、および第二底部パネル20から
なる。第一底部パネル12と第二底部パネル20は、カート
ンの完成時には第２図のように互いに部分的に重ねられ
てカートンの底壁を構成する。これら一連のパネルはブ
ランクの幅方向に延びる複数の折目線22、24、26、28を
介して互いに折り曲げ自在に連結されている。
底部パネル12の各キールエレメントは全て同様な構造
であり、詳細は第1a図および第２図に示されている。第
２図には立ちあげられた状態のキールエレメントが示さ
れている。キールエレメントＫは直立板Ｐとプラットホ
ーム板P1とを持つブリッジ構造を有する。直立板Ｐとプ
ラットホーム板P1は短い連結部ｈ、h1を介して互いに折
り曲げ自在に連結されている。直立板Ｐは折目線h2を介
して底部パネル12に折り曲げ自在に連結され、また、プ
ラットホーム板P1は短い連結部h3、h4を介して仕切板
（またはもう一方の直立板）32に折り曲げ自在に連結さ
れている。仕切板32は、折目線34を介して底部パネル12
に折り曲げ自在に連結されている。直立板Ｐと仕切り板
32は各々スリットまたは切り込み線Ｓ、S1を有する。こ
れら切り込み線Ｓ、S1により直立板Ｐと仕切板32はそれ
らの近傍の連結部を支点にして比較的容易に揺動しまた
は撓むことができる。従って、直立板Ｐは、その連結部
ｈ、h1の間の部分がプラットホーム板P1の湾曲した側縁
Ｃで囲まれる空間の中へ入り込むように、プラットホー
ム板P1に向かって内方へ凹むことができる。同様に、仕
切板32の切り込み線S1の近傍部分も、連結部h3、h4を支
点にして内方へ揺動し、プラットホーム板の側縁C1で囲
まれる空間の中へ凹むことができる。他のキールエレメ
ントK1〜K3もキールエレメントＫと同様である。ただ
し、場合によっては、切り込み線S1を省略しても良い。
第２図に示すように、カートンCtを形成するために一
群の容器Cnにブランクを巻付けると、一方の容器列が仕
切板32の近傍に配され、かつ他方の容器列がキールエレ
メントＫ〜K4の直立板Ｐの近傍に配される。その結果、
各容器がその容器壁を仕切板32または直立板Ｐに当接さ
せた状態となる。前述のように仕切板32も直立板Ｐも湾
曲可能な可撓面であるので、これらキール構造の可撓面
の近傍に配された容器は、仕切板32または直立板Ｐを内
方へ凹ませて、プラットホーム板P1の湾曲した側縁にぴ
ったり添った状態にプラットホーム板と係合する。これ
により各キールエレメントとその両側の容器との係合状
態が安定し、カートン端部からの容器の抜け落ちが防止
される。
上記の実施例において、仕切板32は実質的に連続的な
一枚のパネルであって、ブランクの平面から直立位置へ
立ち上げられる。第３図および第４図に示される変形例
では、複数の各々独立した仕切板、すなわち、各キール
エレメントごとに設けられた別々の仕切板が使用され
る。
第３図および第４図に示されるキール構造は、底部パ
ネル20aから切り出される。このキール構造のうち、先
の実施例と同様の部分については、接尾文字「ａ」を付
した同じ符号を用いて表示する。各キールエレメントKa
はスリットまたは切り込み線Saを持つ直立板Paを有す
る。従って、直立パネルPaはその近傍のプラットホーム
板P1aの湾曲した側縁Caに沿って容易に湾曲する。この
変形例の仕切板は、先の実施例のそれのように、連続的
な一枚のパネルではなく、各キールエレメントごとに一
つずつ設けられた複数のパネル32aである。各仕切板32a
は折目線36を介して底部パネル20aに折り曲げ自在に連
結されている。各仕切板32aは底部パネル20aから切り出
されて底部パネル20aの面から直立位置へ立ち上げられ
る。立ちあげられた時、仕切板32aの切り込み線S1aはプ
ラットホーム板P1aの湾曲した側縁C1aのすぐ横に配され
る。しかしながら、この変形例のキール構造の機能は、
先の実施例のそれと同様であり、従って、切り込み線S1
aも省略可能である。
なお、第２図では容器として円筒状のものが一点鎖線
で記載されているが、直立板Ｐと仕切板32の上端に切込
みが設けられているので、容器が逆円錐台状のものであ
れば容器の保持効果がよりいっそう高くなる。

Claims (7)

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】巻き付け型カートンのキール構造におい
    て、底壁と、この底壁から立ちあげられるとともにカー
    トン内の隣り合う容器列を互いに分離する複数のキール
    エレメントを備え、各キールエレメントは、各々が前記
    底壁に折り曲げ自在に連結されて前記底壁から上方へ伸
    びる互いに離間した一対の直立板と、これら両直立板の
    間を連結するプラットホーム板とを備え、前記プラット
    ホーム板は前記両直立板の一方の直立板から切り出され
    かつ各直立板に折り曲げ自在に連結されていることを特
    徴とするキール構造。
  2. 【請求項２】前記プラットホーム板の両側縁は互いの方
    向へ向かって凸に湾曲し、前記プラットホーム板はその
    各側縁の両端に位置する二つの連結部を介してその近傍
    の直立板に折り曲げ自在に連結され、前記各側縁のその
    他の部分はその近傍の直立板から分離されている請求項
    １のキール構造。
  3. 【請求項３】他方の直立板は、この他方の直立板と前記
    プラットホーム板との間の二つの連結部の間に延在して
    キールエレメントの可撓面を形成し、また前記一方の直
    立板はその直立板と前記プラットホーム板との間の二つ
    の連結部の外方へ延在して、前記可撓面と対向する第二
    の可撓面を形成する請求項２のキール構造。
  4. 【請求項４】前記一方の直立板は、全てのキールエレメ
    ントに共通な一枚の連続的なパネルであり、かつ前記カ
    ートンを形成するブランクの一方の端部を形成する請求
    項３のキール構造。
  5. 【請求項５】前記両直立板のうちの少なくとも一方は、
    前記プラットホーム板の側縁の近傍において、湾曲しや
    すいように二つ以上の部分に分離されている請求項３の
    キール構造。
  6. 【請求項６】前記底壁は互いに部分的に重なり合う二枚
    の底部パネルを有し、前記キールエレメントは前記両底
    部パネルの一方から切り出される請求項１ないし３及び
    ５のいずれかの項のキール構造。
  7. 【請求項７】巻き付け型カートンのキール構造におい
    て、カートン内の隣り合う容器列を互いに分離する複数
    のキールエレメントを備え、各キールエレメントは容器
    に当接する一対の互いに離間した直立板を有し、これら
    両直立板はプラットホーム板を介して配置され、各直立
    板がこれと対をなすもう一方の直立板の方へ湾曲するこ
    とができるように前記プラットホーム板がその両側の各
    直立板に連結され、これにより各キールエレメントの近
    傍の容器がそのキールエレメントにぴったり添うように
    係合し、前記一方の直立板は、全てのキールエレメント
    に共通な一枚の連続的なパネルであり、かつ前記カート
    ンを形成するブランクの一方の端部を形成することを特
    徴とするキール構造。
