Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、予め強固化された合成繊維フリース(ウエ
ブ)及び予め強固化された鉱物繊維フリースからなり、
ニードリングにより両方のフリースが相互に結合されて
おり、かつ屋根及びシーリング用担持シートとして使用
される、特願昭60−212735号(特開昭61−84238号公
報)による積層物の改良に関する。
上記特開昭61−84238号公報の積層物及びこれから製
造されたビチューメンシートは良好な熱機械的性質及び
著しく改善された耐火性を示す。0.2〜0.5%という僅か
な寸法変化値は屋根上でのビチューメンシートの単層施
工すら可能にする。
上記特開昭61−84238号公報による積層物の全ての長
所を保ちつつ寸法安定性をさらに改良(特に横方向にお
いて)した単層屋根用担持シートとしての使用上の信頼
性をさらに確実にすることが本発明の課題である。
驚くべきことに縦(長さ)方向に鉱物補強糸を含有す
る予め強固化されかつ特定の対面積重量を有する鉱物繊
維フリースを特定の対面積重量を有する合成繊維フリー
スと組み合わせて使用することにより横方向における寸
法安定性の著しい改善が達成される。
特にガラスからなる補強糸を鉱物補強糸として含有す
るガラス繊維フリースを鉱物繊維フリースとして用いる
のが好ましいことが判明した。
これらの繊維糸の単一及び全繊度は同様に縦方向補強
糸間の間隔と同様にそれぞれの目的に応じて適合され
る。
特開昭61−84238号公報にも記載されているような本
発明の積層物の通常の及び好ましい使用分野においては
フィラメント不織フリースが3〜8のフィラメントdtex
において50〜350g/m2の合成繊維フリース材料の対面積
重量において、鉱物繊維フリースについては10〜100g/m
2、好ましくは30〜60g/m2の対面積重量において、かつ
例えばガラス繊維フリースの場合は500〜2500、好まし
くは1100dtexの繊度においてガラス繊維補強糸間の間隔
が5〜25mmであるのが好ましい。この場合ガラス糸の間
隔は必ずしも正確に保つ必要はない。
フィラメント繊度及び補強糸間の間隔の選択により、
得られる積層物の応力−歪特性を決定することができ
る。この場合の目的は、例えばビチューメンシートの使
用上重要な鉱物繊維、例えばガラス繊維糸の急勾配の初
期モジュラスを、合成繊維、例えばポリエステルの引き
続いてのゆるやかな応力−歪特性にできるだけ連続的な
移行が達成されるように組み合わせることにある。
例えば、ガラスからなる鉱物繊維の縦走行の平行補強
糸のシートは期待通りに積層物の縦方向における熱機械
的性質を改善する。
しかし驚くべきことに寸法安定性の横方向における改
善が縦方向におけるそれより著しく優れていることがわ
かった。横寸法安定性の改善は15〜30、特に19〜30のフ
ァクターの値において達成される。
本発明による積層物は、屋根−及びシーリング用担持
シートとして優れており、さらにまた独特な帯状材、例
えばロール積層用ウエブ、常温自己接着性ウエブ又は屋
根こけら板を製造するためにも適する。
設置施工された屋根シートはある条件下(無風状態、
強くかつ長時間の日光照射下)では70〜80℃の温度に達
することさえある。
従って、80℃における寸法変化の度合をもって屋根上
の温度変動下の屋根担持シートの挙動を特色づけるべき
である。これは次のように測定される: 屋根シート片(約30cm×30cm)において2個の測定片
に縦−及び横方向で25cmのところに目印をつける。次
に、試験片を1時間加温キャビネット(その温度は性格
に80℃(±1℃)に保たれる)中に置く。熱処理後まだ
軟い屋根シート試験片を、目のつんだV2Aステンレスワ
イヤ格子でできた下敷きとともに加温キャビネットから
注意して取り出す。試験片を2つの角で同時にゆっくり
取り上げ、次に紙シート、例えばクリープ紙上に置き、
冷却の際の収縮が生じないようにする。
冷却1時間後に目印間の距離を測定し、最初の距離に
対する変化を百分率で示す。
測定法はSIA−規格第281号又はUEAtc−ガイドライの
屋根シーリング用システムの部に準拠して行われた。こ
の方法はまた次の例において寸法変化を測定するために
使用される。次の例はビチューメシート用としての本発
明による積層物の優れた効果を示す。しかも、本発明に
よる積層物は、エラストマー又はプラストマーで変性し
たビチューメンの被覆用、道路−及び架橋におけるシー
リング用担持シート及び類似の使用にも適している。
例 A)公知方法により、250g/m2の対面積重量を有するポ
リエステルフリース(これはニードリングにより予め強
固化されている)及び50g/m2の対面積重量を有するニー
ドリングされていない(強固化されていない)ガラス繊
維フリースから積層物を製造する。寸法変化(縦/横)
は、上述した方法により測定して、−0.45/+0.32%で
ある。
B)積層物を特開昭61−84238号公報の記載に従って、1
60g/m2の対面積重量を有するポリエステルフリースを僅
かなステッチ数でニードリングすることによって予め強
固化し、同様に予め強固化した60g/m2の対面積重量を有
するガラス繊維フリース(ただし、これは補強糸を含有
しない)とともにニードリングし、そして通常のバイン
ダーを用いて最終的に強固化することにより、製造す
る。寸法変化(縦/横)は、上記方法により測定して、
−0.44/+0.19%である。
C)280g/m2の対面積重量を有するポリエステルフリー
スを僅かなステッチ数によるニードリングで予め強固化
し、同様に予め強固化された50g/m2の対面積重量を有す
るガラスフリース(これは1cm当たり0.6スレッドで550d
texの繊度の補強糸を有する)とともにニードリング
し、そして通常のバインダーを用いて最終的に強固化す
る。寸法変化(縦/横)は、上記の方法により測定し
て、−0.26/+0.01である。
例A及びBの比較例で示した積層物の場合の横寸法変
化と本発明による例Cの積層物の横寸法変化を比較する
と、本願発明はファクター19の程度までの横寸法安定性
において驚くほどの改善を示す。

  1. 【請求項1】予め強固化された合成繊維フリース及び予
    め強固化された鉱物繊維フリースからなり、ニードリン
    グにより両フリースが相互に結合されている屋根及びシ
    ーリング用担持シート積層物において、合成繊維フリー
    ス材料が3〜8のフィラメント単繊度(dtex)において
    50〜350g/m2の対面積重量を有し、鉱物繊維フリースが1
