Claims (6)
- 電子ビームを放出するカソードを有する電子銃、及び前記電子銃から出射された前記電子ビームが入射するターゲットを含んで構成されるX線管と、
前記X線管の駆動を制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記カソードの消費電力に基づいて前記カソードの温度を推定し、前記カソードの推定温度が通常動作用の所定範囲内に保持されるように前記カソードへの供給電流を制御する第1動作モードと、
前記第1動作モードを所定時間実施した後、前記所定範囲よりも高い清浄化用の温度で前記カソードを加熱する第2動作モードと、を実行するX線発生装置。 - 前記カソードは、単結晶材料からなる電子放出部を備える請求項1記載のX線発生装置。
- 前記単結晶材料は、セリウム又はランタンを含む請求項2記載のX線発生装置。
- 前記単結晶材料は、セリウムを含み、
前記第1動作モードにおける前記通常動作用の所定範囲は、1720K~1780Kに設定されている請求項2記載のX線発生装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記第1動作モードにおいて、前記カソードへの供給電流の制御を行った場合でも前記カソードの推定温度が前記所定範囲に保持されない場合に、その旨を示す報知信号を生成する請求項1~4のいずれか一項記載のX線発生装置。
- 前記カソードから放出される前記電子ビームの焦点寸法及び/又は焦点形状を計測する電子ビーム計測部を備え、
前記制御部は、前記第2動作モードの実施後に前記電子ビームの焦点寸法及び/又は焦点形状が所望の寸法及び/又は形状を満たさない場合に、その旨を示す報知信号を生成する請求項1~4のいずれか一項記載のX線発生装置。
