Abstract
Description
本出願は、2020年6月8日付の韓国特許出願第10-2020-0068992号に基づく優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されたすべての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
正極活物質としてNCM(LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2)100重量部、導電材としてカーボンブラック(FX35、Denka)1.5重量部およびバインダー高分子としてポリビニリデンフルオライド(KF9700、Kureha)2.3重量部を、溶剤のNMP(N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone)に添加して、正極合剤層スラリーを製造した。前記正極合剤層スラリーを640mg/25cm2のローディング量で貫通型ホールが形成されたアルミニウム集電体の一面にコーティングした後、真空乾燥して、正極を得た。前記アルミニウム集電体において、貫通型ホールが面積分率約40%水準に形成され、10cm×10cmの単位面積あたり約50個形成された構造である。また、前記正極合剤層は、一方向に厚さ約40%水準まで順次に減少するように加圧した。
アルミニウムおよび銅集電体をそれぞれメッシュ構造の集電体を用いたことを除けば、実施例1と同様の方法で二次電池を製造した。
正極および負極集電体にそれぞれ厚さ方向に貫通型ホールを形成せず、正極および負極合剤層の厚さ勾配を形成しなかったことを除けば、実施例1と同様の方法で正極および負極を製造した。
実施例1および比較例1で製造した各二次電池について物性を評価した。具体的には、各二次電池に対する充電と放電を行い、充電および放電時の電圧と温度変化をそれぞれ測定した。二次電池に対する充電と放電は20℃、1Cの条件で行った。

Claims (11)
- 中心側を基準に放射状構造体を形成する複数の単位セルを含み、
水平断面を基準として、前記放射状構造体の外側から前記中心側方向へいくほど前記単位セルの厚さが減少し、
前記単位セルに含まれる集電体の上側角、下側角、外側角および中心側角の少なくとも1つに電極タブが形成される電極組立体。 - 前記単位セルは、順次に積層された正極、第1分離膜、負極および第2分離膜を含む、請求項1に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記正極は、正極集電体と、前記正極集電体上に形成された正極合剤層とを含み、
前記負極は、負極集電体と、前記負極集電体上に形成された負極合剤層とを含む、請求項2に記載の電極組立体。 - 前記正極集電体の上側角、外側角および中心側角の少なくとも1つに正極タブが形成される、請求項3に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記負極集電体の下側角、外側角および中心側角の少なくとも1つに負極タブが形成される、請求項3または4に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記放射状構造体の前記外側から前記中心側方向へいくほど、前記正極合剤層および前記負極合剤層の少なくとも1つの厚さが減少する、請求項3から5のいずれか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記放射状構造体の前記外側から前記中心側方向へいくほど、前記正極合剤層および前記負極合剤層の少なくとも1つの密度が増加する、請求項3から6のいずれか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記正極集電体、前記正極合剤層、前記第1分離膜、前記負極合剤層、前記負極集電体および前記第2分離膜が順次に積層される、請求項3から7のいずれか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記集電体に貫通型ホールが形成された、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 前記電極タブに接合される電極リードをさらに含む、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の電極組立体。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の電極組立体と、
前記電極組立体を収納する電池ケースと、
前記電極組立体上に位置するキャップ組立体とを含み、
前記電極タブは、直接または電極リードと接合されて、前記キャップ組立体または前記電池ケースと連結される二次電池。
