Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- 反応器内部に垂直方向に多数の隔室(compartment)が形成されるように、多数の段(tray)が反応器内部に設けられており、前記多数の段には開口部が形成され、上下隣接する隔室を連結するものの、前記隣接する段の開口部は互いに食い違うように交差形成されているカラム型反応器の中間に位置した原料投入口にグリセリンと脂肪酸とを含む原料をそれぞれ投入して、反応区域のそれぞれの段(tray)でグリセリンと脂肪酸とを含む原料をエステル化反応させ、バイオオイル及び水を生成する段階;
前記生成されたバイオオイルを反応器下部を通じて得る段階;及び
前記エステル化反応で生成される水は気化しながら有効成分である反応原料とバイオオイルとが共に蒸発して蒸気状態で反応器上部の蒸留区域に移動し、前記蒸留区域で蒸気に含まれた水と有効成分である反応原料とバイオオイルとを分離させ、前記分離された有効成分は反応器下部の反応区域に流し、分離された水は蒸気状態で反応器上部を通じて除去される段階;を含み、
前記バイオオイルの酸価は30mgKOH/g以下であり、
前記エステル化反応は170~350℃の反応温度及び常圧で、触媒を用いずに行われるものである、バイオオイルの製造方法。 - 前記水は、それぞれの段に形成された蒸気移動通路を通過し、カラム型反応器上部の蒸留区域で分離されて除去されるものである、請求項1に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。
- 前記それぞれの段に形成された多数の蒸気移動通路はバブルキャップ、バルブ及びホールからなる群から選択されるものである、請求項2に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。
- 前記カラム型反応器の下部はグリセリンと脂肪酸とがエステル化反応で生成される生成物であるグリセリドが得られる反応区域であり、
前記カラム型反応器の上部はエステル化によって生成される副産物である水が気化して蒸気状態で除去される蒸留区域である、請求項1に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。 - 前記反応区域でグリセリンと脂肪酸との滞留時間は2時間以上である、請求項4に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。
- 前記脂肪酸とグリセリンとの混合比(モル比)は3:0.5~3:2である、請求項1に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。
- 前記脂肪酸を含む原料の酸価は30mgKOH/g超である、請求項1に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。
- 前記エステル化の反応温度は170~350℃である、請求項1に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。
- 前記反応生成物であるバイオオイルの酸価は25mgKOH/g以下である、請求項1に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。
- 前記グリセリンはグリセリンの濃度が3~100質量%であるものを用いるものである、請求項1に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。
- 前記水と有効成分である反応原料およびバイオオイルとは沸点によって分離されるものである、請求項1に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。
- 前記脂肪酸を含む原料は植物性油を精製する過程で遊離脂肪酸を除去する時に生じる石鹸物質であるソープストック(soap stock)から製造した脂肪酸酸油(acid oil);動・植物性油脂またはそれより誘導された化学製品である油脂化学製品(oleochemical)の工程で発生する製品または副産物;動植物油の搾油または精製過程で出る脂肪酸が含まれたオイル;廃食用油、茶色油(Brown grease)のような回収油及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される動物性及び植物性油脂及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択されるものである、請求項7に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。
- 前記バイオオイルの製造方法の反応時間が2時間以上である、請求項1に記載のバイオオイルの製造方法。
