Abstract
Description
図1に、本実施形態に係るシステムの構成例を示す。本システムは、一例において、複数の通信装置が相互に無線で通信可能な無線通信システムである。図1の例では、アクセスポイント131、MFP151、携帯端末101を含む。なお、携帯端末101は、携帯端末101の一例であり、ノートパソコンまたはスマートフォンである。
Claims (8)
- 画像形成装置であって、
前記画像形成装置の外部の外部アクセスポイントを介して無線通信を実行する第1モードと、前記画像形成装置の外部の外部アクセスポイントを介さずに無線通信を実行する第2モードの両者を有効化する通信制御手段と、
前記第1および第2モードが有効化されている最中に前記画像形成装置の外部の外部アクセスポイントからキャリアセンスの実行に関する情報を含むIEEE802.11規格に準拠した第1トリガーフレームを受信する受信手段と、
前記第1トリガーフレームにキャリアセンスを実行することを示す情報が含まれる場合、キャリアセンスを実行してからデータを送信する第1送信手段と、
前記第1および第2モードが有効化されている最中に前記第2モードの無線通信において利用される通信チャネルを決定する親局として前記画像形成装置が動作する場合、キャリアセンスを実行することを示す情報が含まれるIEEE802.11規格に準拠した第2トリガーフレームを前記親局に接続されている子局の装置に対して送信する第2送信手段と、
前記子局の装置から受信した印刷データに基づいて用紙に対して印刷処理を実行する印刷処理手段を備えることを特徴とする画像形成装置。 - 原稿をスキャンすることでスキャンデータを取得する読取手段を更に有し、
前記第1送信手段は、前記キャリアセンスを実行し、センシングされたエネルギーが閾値未満であると判定した場合、前記第1トリガーフレームによって前記画像形成装置に割り当てられた1または複数のリソースユニットを用いて前記スキャンデータを送信することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画像形成装置。 - 前記第2トリガーフレームは、前記キャリアセンスを実行することを示す情報と1または複数のリソースユニットの割り当てに関する情報とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記第2トリガーフレームにおいて指定されるリソースユニットが割り当てられる装置の最大数は、前記第2モードの無線通信において並行して維持可能な子局の装置の最大数と同じであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記親局として動作する前記画像形成装置は、所定台数以下の子局の装置との前記第2モードによる無線接続を並行して維持することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記第1モードの無線通信と前記第2モードの無線通信は同じの通信チャネルを用いて実行されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記第1モードの無線通信と前記第2モードの無線通信は異なる通信チャネルを用いて実行されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の画像形成装置。
- 前記画像形成装置は、2.4GHz、5GHzおよび6GHzから選択された周波数帯域を用いて無線通信を実行することを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の画像形成装置。
