Claims (8)
- 積層ノズル組立体において、
第1の流体入口と第2の流体入口とを有した第1の端部プレートと、
第2の端部プレートと、
前記第1と前記第2の端部プレートの間に配置かつ挟持される複数のノズルプレートと、
前記複数のノズルプレートのうち1または複数のノズルプレートに形成され、前記第1の流体入口に連通する第1の流体通路と、
前記複数のノズルプレートのうち1または複数のノズルプレートに形成され、前記第2の流体入口に連通する第2の流体通路と、
前記第1と第2の端部プレートの間で前記複数のノズルプレートのうちの1枚のノズルプレートに形成された第1のオリフィスであって、該第1のオリフィスは前記第1の流体通路に連通し、該第1のオリフィスの一端が、該積層ノズル組立体から第1の流体を吐出する出口となっている第1のオリフィスと、
前記第1と第2の端部プレートの間で前記第1のオリフィスと同一の前記1枚のノズルプレートに形成された第2のオリフィスであって、該第2のオリフィスは前記第2の流体通路に連通し、該第2のオリフィスの一端が、該積層ノズル組立体から第2の流体を吐出する出口となっている第2のオリフィスとを具備し、
前記1枚のノズルプレートは、前記第1の端部プレートに対面する第1の側面と、前記第2の端部プレートに対面する第2の側面とを有しており、
前記第1の流体通路は、前記第1の流体入口から、前記第1の端部プレートと前記1枚のノズルプレートとの間に配置されている1または複数のノズルプレートに形成されており、前記第2の流体通路は、前記第2の流体入口から、前記第1の端部プレートと前記1枚のノズルプレートの間に配置されている1または複数のノズルプレート、前記1枚のノズルプレート、および、前記1枚のノズルプレートと前記第2の端部プレートとの間に配置されている1または複数のノズルプレートに形成されており、
前記1枚のノズルプレートは、前記複数のノズルプレートのうちの他のノズルプレート間で中央に配置されたノズルプレートであり、
前記第1のオリフィスは、前記出口とは反対側の端部において、前記1枚のノズルプレートの前記第1の側面で前記第1の流体通路から第1の流体を受け取り、前記第2のオリフィスは、前記出口とは反対側の端部において、前記1枚のノズルプレートの前記第2の側面で前記第2の流体通路から前記第2の流体を受け取るようになっており、
前記第1の流体はホットメルト接着剤で、前記第2の流体は空気であり、
前記ホットメルト接着剤を前記第1の流体通路から受け取る端部と、前記出口との間の前記第1のオリフィスの長さが、前記空気を前記第2の流体通路から受け取る端部と前記出口との間の前記第2のオリフィスの長さよりも短くなっている積層ノズル組立体。 - 前記複数のノズルプレートは、8枚より少ない枚数のノズルプレートを含む請求項1に記載の積層ノズル組立体。
- 前記複数のノズルプレートは、5以下の枚数のノズルプレートを含む請求項1に記載の積層ノズル組立体。
- 3枚のノズルプレートを備える請求項3に記載の積層ノズル組立体。
- 複数の第1のオリフィスおよび第2のオリフィスを備える請求項1に記載の積層ノズル組立体。
- 前記複数のノズルプレートのうち少なくともいくつかは、0.005mm~0.500mmの厚さを有する請求項1に記載の積層ノズル組立体。
- 前記積層ノズル組立体は、第1の流体プレナムおよび第2の流体プレナムの一方または双方を備え、該第1の流体プレナムおよび/または該第2の流体プレナムは、それぞれ前記第1の端部プレートおよび/または前記第2の端部プレート内にある請求項1に記載の積層ノズル組立体。
- 3枚のノズルプレートを備える請求項7に記載の積層ノズル組立体。
