Abstract
Description
本出願は、2019年8月16日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/887,856号、および2020年8月10日に出願された米国特許非仮出願第16/988,755号の優先権の利益を主張し、それらの全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
水性グラフェン分散体を、表1に列挙される成分を用いて調製した。
10,000g/molを有する。
(2)Raymor NanoIntegrisから市販されている。
表3の試料A、試料B、および試料Cを、Buchi Corporationから市販されている0.5mmのノズルを備えたBuchi噴霧乾燥機を使用して噴霧乾燥した。表5は、噴霧乾燥した試料D、EおよびFを調製するために使用される条件を示す。SLPHは、1時間当たりの標準リットルを意味する。図1は、試料Eを噴霧乾燥することによって生成したケイ素-グラフェンカーボン複合粒子の10,000倍の倍率でのSEM顕微鏡写真である。図2は、同じ複合粒子の100,000倍の倍率でのSEM顕微鏡写真である。非球状グラフェンプレートレットが図2の倍率で視認可能である。
水性シリカおよびグラフェン酸化物分散体を、表7に列挙される成分を用いて調製した。
(2)沈殿シリカ、PPG Industriesから市販されている。
ゴム化合物を、表8に列挙されるモデル乗用トレッド配合物を使用して調製した。本実施例では、ゴム化合物に従来使用されていたシリカ充填材を、本発明のシリカ-グラフェン複合体に置き換えた。本実施例で使用されるシリカ-グラフェン複合体は、表5による試料Eからなる。試料Eは6.25%のグラフェンを有するため、化合物中の80部の複合体充填材はまた、75部のシリカおよび5部のグラフェンからなる、と言うことができる。
(5)ブタジエンゴム(BR)、シス1,4含有量97%、ムーニー粘度(ML(1+4)100℃):55、The Goodyear Tire&Rubber Co.から市販されているものを入手。
(6)プロセスオイル、Hansen & Rosentalから市販されているものを入手。
(7)3,3’-ビス(トリエトキシ-シリルプロピル)ジスルフィド、Momentiveから市販されているものを入手。
(8)N-(1,3-ジメチルブチル)-N’-フェニル-p-フェニレンジアミンオゾン劣化防止剤、Flexsysから市販されているものを入手。
(9)ゴム用(RM)硫黄、100%活性、Taber,Inc.から市販されているものを入手。
(10)N-シクロヘキシル-2-ベンゾチアゾールスルフェンアミド、Flexsysから市販されているものを入手。
(11)ジフェニルグアニジン、Monsantoから市販されているものを入手。
シリカおよびグラフェン酸化物含有ゴム化合物を、実施例6の手順に従って調製したが、複合体試料Eを複合体試料Gに置き換えた。試料Gは6.25%のグラフェン酸化物を有するため、化合物中の80部の複合体充填材はまた、75部のシリカおよび5部のグラフェン酸化物からなる、と言うことができる。
シリカおよびグラフェン含有ゴム化合物を、実施例6の手順に従って調製したが、複合体試料Eを、75部の遊離Hi-Sil EZ 160Gおよび5部の遊離PureWave(商標)グラフェンナノプレートレット(安全な取り扱いのために、Vivatec(登録商標)500 usに予め分散させた)に置き換えた。
ゴム化合物を、実施例6の手順に従って調製したが、複合体試料Eを80部の遊離Hi-Sil EZ 160Gに置き換えた。グラフェンを添加せず、結果として標準的なシリカ充填ゴム組成物を表すグラフェンを含まないゴムを得た。
実施例6ならびに比較実施例1および2の得られた加硫ゴムを、標準ASTM手順に従って様々な物理的特性について試験した。
Claims (19)
- 60~99.9重量パーセントのシリカ、および0.1~40重量パーセントのグラフェンカーボンを含むシリカ-グラフェンカーボン複合粒子。
- 前記複合粒子が、2~100ミクロンの平均粒径を有する、請求項1に記載のシリカ-グラフェンカーボン複合粒子。
- 前記グラフェンカーボンが、10ナノメートル未満の平均厚さ、ならびに20~200ナノメートルの平均幅および長さを有するグラフェンナノシートの形態である、請求項1に記載のシリカ-グラフェンカーボン複合粒子。
- 前記グラフェンカーボンが、グラファイト酸化物、グラフェン酸化物、rGO、またはそれらの組み合わせから選択される、請求項1に記載のシリカ-グラフェンカーボン複合粒子。
- 前記グラフェンカーボンが、各複合粒子全体に分散され、前記シリカが、前記グラフェンカーボンが分散される連続的または相互接続ネットワークを含む、請求項1に記載のシリカ-グラフェンカーボン複合粒子。
- 各複合粒子の表面が、前記シリカを含む、請求項5に記載のシリカ-グラフェンカーボン複合粒子。
- 各複合粒子の前記表面の一部分が、前記グラフェンカーボンをさらに含む、請求項6に記載のシリカ-グラフェンカーボン複合粒子。
- 各複合粒子の表面積の50パーセント未満が、前記グラフェンカーボンを含み、前記グラフェンカーボンが、グラフェンナノシートの形態である、請求項7に記載のシリカ-グラフェンカーボン複合粒子。
