Claims (15)
- 一つ以上のバッテリーセルが含まれたバッテリーパックの欠陥を検出する装置であって、
一端が前記バッテリーセルの第1端子に直列で接続され、他端が前記バッテリーパックの電極端子側に接続されるように構成されたヒューズと、
前記バッテリーセルの電圧、電流及び温度のうち少なくとも一つを測定し、前記ヒューズが切断されたか否かを判断するように構成されたモニタリング部と、
一端が前記バッテリーセルの第1端子に並列で接続された放電抵抗、及び一端が前記バッテリーセルの第2端子に接続され、他端が前記放電抵抗の他端に接続された放電スイッチを備えるように構成された放電ラインと、
前記モニタリング部によって測定された測定結果及び前記ヒューズの切断如何に対する判断結果を受信し、受信した測定結果に基づいて前記バッテリーセルの充電状態を推定し、前記受信した測定結果及び推定された充電状態に基づいて前記バッテリーセルの状態を正常状態または欠陥状態と判断し、判断されたバッテリーセルの状態及び判断されたヒューズの切断如何に応じて前記放電スイッチの動作状態をターンオン状態またはターンオフ状態に制御するように構成された制御部とを含む、バッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。 - 前記ヒューズは、前記放電スイッチの動作状態がターンオン状態である場合、切断されるように構成され、
前記制御部は、前記測定された測定結果に基づいて前記バッテリーセルが過充電状態及び臨界温度以上の高温状態の少なくとも一つであると判断されれば、前記バッテリーセルの状態を前記欠陥状態と判断し、前記放電スイッチの動作状態をターンオン状態に制御するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。 - 前記放電ライン上に直列で接続され、前記制御部によって前記放電スイッチの動作状態がターンオン状態に制御される間に駆動されて前記バッテリーセルの温度を下げるように構成された冷却ユニットをさらに含む、請求項2に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記ヒューズが切断され、前記バッテリーセルの充電状態が予め設定された下限値以下である場合、前記放電スイッチの動作状態をターンオフ状態に制御するように構成されている、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記ヒューズが切断されたと判断された後、前記バッテリーセルの充電状態が予め設定された上限値以上である場合、前記放電スイッチの動作状態をターンオン状態に制御するように構成されている、請求項4に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。
- 一端が前記ヒューズの他端に接続され、他端が前記バッテリーパックの電極端子に接続されるように構成されたメインスイッチと、
一端が前記ヒューズと前記メインスイッチとの間に接続され、他端が前記放電抵抗と前記放電スイッチとの間に接続された遮断抵抗と、をさらに含む、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。 - 前記放電抵抗の抵抗値は、前記遮断抵抗の抵抗値よりも小さい、請求項6に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記バッテリーセルの状態が前記欠陥状態と判断された場合、前記メインスイッチの動作状態をターンオフ状態に制御するように構成されている、請求項6または7に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。
- 前記ヒューズの一端と前記バッテリーセルの第1端子とが接続されたラインと、前記放電抵抗の一端との間に備えられ、前記放電抵抗に流れる電流を測定するように構成された電流計をさらに含み、
前記モニタリング部は、前記電流計によって測定された電流値が所定の臨界値以上であれば、前記ヒューズが切断されたと判断するように構成されている、請求項6から8のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記バッテリーセルの状態が正常状態と判断されたが、前記モニタリング部によって前記ヒューズが切断されたと判断された場合、前記メインスイッチの動作状態をターンオン状態に制御するように構成されている、請求項9に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。
- 前記制御部と接続され、前記制御部から切断制御信号を受信すれば、発熱する発熱ユニット、前記ヒューズに電流を印加するように構成された電流印加ユニット及び前記ヒューズを切断する切断ユニットのうち少なくとも一つを備え、前記ヒューズを切断させるように構成されたヒューズ切断部をさらに含み、
前記制御部は、前記ヒューズが切断されず、前記バッテリーセルの状態が欠陥状態と判断された場合、前記切断制御信号を出力するように構成されている、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。 - 前記バッテリーパックは、複数のバッテリーセルを含み、
前記ヒューズは、前記バッテリーパックに含まれた複数のバッテリーセルのうち対応するバッテリーセルの第1端子に接続されるように構成され、
前記放電ラインは、前記複数のバッテリーセルのうち対応するバッテリーセルのそれぞれに接続されるように構成され、
前記複数のバッテリーセルのうち対応するバッテリーセルのそれぞれに並列で接続され、前記制御部によって動作状態がターンオフ状態またはターンオン状態に制御されるように構成されたバイパススイッチをさらに含む、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記複数のバッテリーセルのうち状態が欠陥状態と判断されたか又は対応するヒューズが切断されたと判断されたバッテリーセルをターゲットセルとして選定し、前記選定されたターゲットセルの状態に応じて前記選定されたターゲットセルに対応する放電ラインに含まれた放電スイッチの動作状態をターンオンまたはターンオフ状態に制御し、前記ターゲットセルに並列で接続されたバイパススイッチの動作状態をターンオン状態に制御するように構成されている、請求項12に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置。
- 請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパックの欠陥検出装置を含む、バッテリーパック。
- バッテリーセルの電圧、電流及び温度のうち少なくとも一つを測定する測定段階と、
ヒューズが切断されたか否かを判断する切断如何判断段階と、
前記測定段階で測定された測定結果に基づいて前記バッテリーセルの状態を正常状態または欠陥状態と判断するバッテリーセル状態判断段階と、
前記判断されたバッテリーセルの状態及び判断されたヒューズの切断如何に応じて放電スイッチの動作状態をターンオン状態またはターンオフ状態に制御する放電スイッチ動作制御段階と、を含む、バッテリーパックの欠陥検出方法。
