Abstract
Description
本出願は、2019年5月2日付韓国特許出願第10-2019-0051437号に基づく優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示された全ての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
一具現例によれば、本発明は、リチウム塩;有機溶媒;及びシアノシラン系化合物を含み、前記シアノシラン系化合物は、下記化学式1で表される化合物から化学式3で表される化合物からなる群から選択される1つ以上であるリチウム二次電池用電解質を提供する。
先ず、リチウム塩について説明する。
次に、前記有機溶媒について説明する。
次に、シアノシラン系化合物について説明する。
一方、本発明の一実施形態によるリチウム二次電池用電解質は、前記シアノシラン系化合物が発現する効果とともに初期抵抗を大きく増加させないながらも、負極及び正極の表面に安定した被膜を形成するか、リチウム二次電池用電解質中の溶媒の分解を抑制し、リチウムイオンの移動性を向上させる補完剤の役割が可能なその他の添加剤をさらに含んでよい。
次に、本発明に係るリチウム二次電池を説明する。
1.実施例1
(リチウム二次電池用電解質の製造)
1MのLiPF6が溶解された有機溶媒(エチレンカーボネート(EC):エチルメチルカーボネート(EMC)=3:7体積比)95gに化学式1-1で表される化合物3g、その他の添加剤としてビニレンカーボネート(以下、VC)を2g添加してリチウム二次電池用電解質を製造した。
正極活物質(LiCoO2;LCO)、導電材としてカーボンブラック、バインダーとしてポリビニリデンフルオライド(PVDF)を97:1.7:1.3重量比で混合した後、溶媒であるN-メチル-2-ピロリドン(以下、NMP)に添加して固形分含量が60重量%である正極活物質スラリーを製造した。前記正極活物質スラリーを厚さが12μm程度の正極集電体であるアルミニウム(Al)薄膜に塗布し、乾燥して正極を製造した後、ロールプレス(roll press)を行って正極を製造した。
化学式1-1で表される化合物3gの代わりに化学式1-2で表される化合物3g添加したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池用電解質及びリチウム二次電池を製造した。
有機溶媒99.5gに化学式1-1で表される化合物を0.5g添加したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池用電解質及びリチウム二次電池を製造した。
有機溶媒95gに化学式1-1で表される化合物を5g添加したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池用電解質及びリチウム二次電池を製造した。
1.比較例1
有機溶媒98gにその他の添加剤としてVC2g添加することを除き、実施例1と同様の方法でリチウム二次電池用電解質及びリチウム二次電池を製造した。
前記化学式1-1で表される化合物3gの代わりに化学式4のトリメチルシランカルボニトリルを3g添加したことを除き、実施例1と同様の方法で電解質及びリチウム二次電池を製造した。
1.実験例1:高温(60℃)容量維持率の測定
実施例1から4で製造されたリチウム二次電池と比較例1及び2で製造されたリチウム二次電池に対して、24MA電流(0.2Cレート(rate))でフォーメーション(formation)を進めた後、電池内のガスを除去した(degas工程)。前記ガスが除去されたリチウム二次電池を常温(25℃)の充放電器に移した後、0.2Cレートで4.45Vまで定電流/定電圧条件で充電及び0.05Cカットオフ(cut off)充電を行い、0.2C 3.0Vで放電を行った。このとき、前記充/放電をそれぞれ2回行った後、次いで0.7Cレートで4.45Vまで定電流/定電圧条件で充電及び0.05Cカットオフ充電を行い、60℃で3週間保管した。
Claims (10)
- 前記シアノシラン系化合物は、前記化学式1で表される化合物を含むものである、請求項1に記載のリチウム二次電池用電解質。
- 前記化学式1中、R1は、水素、シアノ基及び炭素数1から4のアルキル基からなる群から選択される、請求項1または2に記載のリチウム二次電池用電解質。
- 前記化学式1中、R1は、水素、シアノ基、-CH3、-CH2CH3、-CH(CH3)2及び-C(CH3)3からなる群から選択される、請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載のリチウム二次電池用電解質。
- 前記シアノシラン系化合物は、前記リチウム二次電池用電解質100重量部に対して0.1重量部から10重量部で含まれる、請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載のリチウム二次電池用電解質。
- 前記シアノシラン系化合物は、前記リチウム二次電池用電解質100重量部に対して0.5重量部から5重量部で含まれる、請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載のリチウム二次電池用電解質。
- 前記シアノシラン系化合物は、前記リチウム二次電池用電解質100重量部に対して1重量部から4重量部で含まれる、請求項1から7の何れか一項に記載のリチウム二次電池用電解質。
- 正極;負極;及び請求項1から8の何れか一項に記載リチウム二次電池用電解質;を含むリチウム二次電池。
- 駆動電圧が4Vから5Vである、請求項9に記載のリチウム二次電池。
