Abstract
Description
ベースプレート12は、モジュールハウジング11の底面を形成する部分であって、全般的に扁平な面を有する板状体であるが、その端部はカバープレート13との接合のために上向きに折り曲げられ得る。ベースプレート12の素材としては、熱伝導性に優れたアルミニウムのような金属またはアルミニウム合金を採用し得る。このようなベースプレート12の下面にヒートシンクを配置することで、バッテリーモジュール10を間接水冷式で冷却することができる。

Claims (12)
- 複数のバッテリーセル、及び前記バッテリーセルを収容する内部空間を形成するモジュールハウジングを備えるバッテリーモジュールにおいて、
前記モジュールハウジングは、
前記モジュールハウジングの底面を形成するベースプレートと、
前記モジュールハウジングの上面と両側面とを一体的に形成するカバープレートと、
前記モジュールハウジングの両側面の上端領域から水平方向に延びる締結用フランジと、
を含む、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記カバープレートは、0.1mm~1mmの厚さを有する薄板型で形成された、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記カバープレートは、
前記モジュールハウジングの上面を形成する上面部と、
前記モジュールハウジングの両側面を形成する第1側面部及び第2側面部と、
を含み、
前記第1側面部及び第2側面部の少なくとも一つの外面に衝撃吸収体がさらに付着される、請求項1または2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記衝撃吸収体は、前記第1側面部の外面及び前記第2側面部の外面にそれぞれ付着される板ばねであり、
前記板ばねは、中心部が凸状に湾曲し、前記中心部を基準にして上端部及び下端部が前記第1側面部の外面または前記第2側面部の外面に溶接される、請求項3に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 前記板ばねは、前記締結用フランジと一体的に形成され、
前記締結用フランジは、前記板ばねの上端部分で前記板ばねと交差する方向に折り曲げられて設けられ、少なくとも一つの孔を備える、請求項4に記載のバッテリーモジュール。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の、少なくとも一つのバッテリーモジュールと、
前記少なくとも一つのバッテリーモジュールを載置する空間を提供するパックトレイと、
を含み、
前記パックトレイは、前記バッテリーモジュールの両側面部を支持する複数の剛性ビームを備える、バッテリーパック。 - 前記バッテリーモジュールは、二つの前記剛性ビームの間に載置され、前記締結用フランジは前記剛性ビームの上端面に結合される、請求項6に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記パックトレイと相互に結合して前記バッテリーモジュールの上部を覆うパックカバーをさらに含む、請求項7に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記パックカバーと前記締結用フランジと前記剛性ビームとは、締結部材によって相互に一体的に結束される、請求項8に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記パックカバーの底面に付着されて前記締結用フランジを面加圧するスペーサをさらに含む、請求項8に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記パックカバーの底面に付着されて前記モジュールハウジングの上面に接着される緩衝パッドをさらに含む、請求項8に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記少なくとも一つのバッテリーモジュールの底面に配置されるヒートシンクをさらに含む、請求項6から11のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーパック。
