Claims (22)
- 開位置と閉位置との間で互いに相対的に移動可能な第1アームおよび第2アームと、使用中に毛髪を接触させるための接触表面とを備える、ヘアーアイロンであって、
前記第1アームの遠位セグメントは、開位置において前記第2アームの遠位セグメントから離間し、前記第1アームの遠位セグメントは、閉位置において前記第2アームの遠位セグメントに近接して位置し、
前記接触表面は、前記第1アームの前記遠位セグメントの外部に位置し、
前記第1アームが、セラミック基板と、前記セラミック基板の外側面上の電気抵抗性トレースとを有するヒータを含み、前記ヒータは、前記電気抵抗性トレースに電流を印加することによって発生される熱を前記接触表面に供給するように位置する、ヘアーアイロン。 - 前記電気抵抗性トレースは、前記セラミック基板の焼成後に前記セラミック基板の外側面に印刷された電気抵抗材料厚膜を含む、請求項1に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記電気抵抗性トレースは、前記閉位置において前記第2アームとは反対側に面する前記セラミック基板の内面上に位置する、請求項1に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記ヒータは、前記電気抵抗性トレースを電気的に絶縁するために、前記電気抵抗性トレースを覆う一つ又は複数のガラス層を前記セラミック基板の外側面上に含む、請求項1に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記ヒータは、サーミスタを含み、前記サーミスタは、前記セラミック基板上に位置し、前記ヒータの温度に関するフィードバックを前記ヒータの制御回路に提供するために前記ヒータの前記制御回路と電気通信する、請求項1に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記サーミスタは、前記閉位置において前記第2アームとは反対側を向く前記セラミック基板の内面に位置する、請求項5に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記電気抵抗性トレースは、前記セラミック基板の前記内面に位置する、請求項6に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記閉位置で前記第2アームに面する前記ヒータの外面を覆うスリーブを更に備え、前記スリーブの一部分が前記接触表面を形成する、請求項1に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記スリーブは、熱伝導性で電気絶縁性の材料の薄膜で構成される、請求項8に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記スリーブは、充填されたポリイミドまたは未充填のポリイミドの少なくとも1つから構成される、請求項8に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記ヒータは、前記アーム上に位置するヒータハウジングに装着され、前記ヒータハウジングは、少なくとも200℃の最高使用温度を有するプラスチック材料で構成される、請求項1に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 開位置と閉位置との間で互いに相対的に移動可能な第1アームおよび第2アームと、使用中に毛髪を接触させるための接触表面と、セラミック基板および電気抵抗材料厚膜を有するヒータとを備える、ヘアーアイロンであって、
前記第1アームの先端部分は、前記開位置において前記第2アームの先端部分から離間し、前記第1アームの先端部分は、前記閉位置において前記第2アームの先端部分に近接して位置し、
前記セラミック基板の焼成後に、前記セラミック基板の表面に電気抵抗材料の厚膜が印刷され、前記ヒータは、前記電気抵抗材料に電流を流すことにより発生する熱を前記接触表面に供給するように位置する、ヘアーアイロン。 - 前記電気抵抗材料は、前記セラミック基板の外側面上に位置する、請求項12に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記電気抵抗材料は、前記閉位置において前記第2アームとは反対側を向いている前記セラミック基板の内面に位置する、請求項13に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記ヒータは、前記電気抵抗材料を電気的に絶縁するために、前記電気抵抗材料を覆う一つ又は複数のガラス層を前記セラミック基板の前記外側面上に含む、請求項13に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記ヒータは、サーミスタを含み、前記サーミスタは、前記セラミック基板上に位置し、前記ヒータの温度に関するフィードバックを前記ヒータの制御回路に提供するために前記ヒータの制御回路と電気通信する、請求項12に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記サーミスタは、前記閉位置において前記第2アームとは反対側を向く前記セラミック基板の内面に位置する、請求項16に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記電気抵抗材料は前記セラミック基板の前記内面に位置する、請求項17に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記ヒータの外面を覆うスリーブを更に備え、前記外面は、前記閉位置で前記第2アームに面し、前記スリーブの一部分が前記接触表面を形成する、請求項12に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記スリーブは、熱伝導性および電気絶縁性材料の薄膜で構成される、請求項19に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記スリーブは、充填されたポリイミドまたは未充填のポリイミドの少なくとも1つから構成される、請求項19に記載のヘアーアイロン。
- 前記ヒータは、前記アーム上に位置するヒータハウジングに装着され、前記ヒータハウジングは、少なくとも200℃の最高使用温度を有するプラスチック材料で構成される、請求項12に記載のヘアーアイロン。
