Abstract
Description
この出願は特許協力条約に基づく国際出願であって、2018年11月30日付で出願された米国非仮出願番号第62/773,819号の利益を主張し、2018年6月28日付で公開され、Buckman Laboratoriesに譲渡された米国特許出願公開第2018/0177191号に関し、2018年1月31日付で出願された米国仮出願第62/624,186号に関するものである。上記の全ての文献の内容は、それらの全体が引用することにより本明細書の一部をなす。
本発明は、殺生物剤として有用なクロラミン等のハロアミンを製造する方法に関する。本発明はまた、過塩素酸イオン、塩素酸イオン、亜塩素酸イオン、及び/又は臭素酸イオン、亜臭素酸イオン若しくは過臭素酸イオン等の有害なハロゲンポリオキシアニオンの量を減少させたハロアミン溶液に関する。
デンプンを付加価値の高い食品及び栄養製品へと加工する施設における微生物汚染の処理について、本発明の実施形態を試験した。ハロアミン製造ユニットを、図2に提供する図表に従って、電解塩素ガス生成器を利用して設置した。生成器からの気体塩素を水酸化ナトリウム溶液と合わせて、貯蔵タンク内に次亜塩素酸塩溶液を約1時間の滞留時間で形成した。タンク内の遊離活性塩素濃度は、2 g/L~9 g/Lの範囲内であった。タンク内の塩素酸イオン含有量は、遊離活性塩素1 kgあたり100 mg~500 mgの範囲内であった。製造されたハロアミン溶液は、非常に少ない量のハロゲンポリキシアニオンを含有した。加工デンプンにおいて測定された塩素酸イオン濃度は0.7 mg/L未満であった。

Claims (23)
- ハロゲンポリオキシアニオンの量を減少させたハロアミン溶液を製造する方法であって、(a)ハロゲン含有酸化剤溶液のオンサイト生成と、(b)該オンサイト生成されたハロゲン含有酸化剤溶液を窒素源とオンサイトで反応させ、それによってハロゲンポリオキシアニオンの量を減少させた該ハロアミン溶液を製造することとを含む、方法。
- 前記ハロアミンが、モノクロラミン(MCA)を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ハロゲン含有酸化剤溶液が、次亜ハロゲン酸塩を含有する、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記ハロアミン溶液が、5重量%未満のハロゲンポリオキシアニオンを含む、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記窒素源が、アンモニア、アンモニア溶液、又はアンモニウム塩である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記オンサイト生成が、塩素ガスをアルカリ溶液と反応させることを含む、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記オンサイト生成が、ハロゲン化ヒダントイン化合物を水と反応させることを含む、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記オンサイト生成が、塩化ナトリウム溶液の電気分解を含む、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記オンサイト生成が、塩素ガスを電解的に生成し、該塩素ガスを苛性物質及び水の混合物と反応させることを含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ハロゲン含有酸化剤溶液が、次亜塩素酸塩である次亜ハロゲン酸塩を含有する、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ハロゲン含有酸化剤溶液が、1g/L~25 g/Lの次亜塩素酸塩濃度を有する希釈溶液である、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記オンサイト生成が、海水又はナトリウムブラインの電気分解を含む、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記ハロアミンのオンサイト生成が単一の工程で行われ、該工程では、中間上流段階で塩素ガス又は次亜塩素酸塩溶液を製造するために電気分解又は電流を溶液に通すことを用いない、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記オンサイト生成された溶液を、貯蔵せずに、ハロアミン生成器に直接供給し、前記窒素源と反応させる、請求項1~13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記オンサイト生成された次亜塩素酸塩又は次亜ハロゲン酸塩の溶液を中間タンクに最大24時間蓄積させた後、クロラミン生成器に供給し、前記窒素源と反応させる、請求項1~14のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- オンサイト生成された次亜ハロゲン酸塩溶液をただちに使用して前記ハロアミンを製造し、これにより、2個以上の酸素原子を含有するハロゲンオキシアニオンの形成を排除する、請求項1~15のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記オンサイト生成が電気分解を用いない、請求項1~16のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記オンサイト生成が、オンサイト電解生成器から製造されていない塩素ガスをアルカリ溶液と反応させることを含む、請求項1~17のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1~18のいずれか一項に記載の方法によって得られるクロラミン溶液。
- 1重量%未満の2個以上の酸素原子を含有するハロゲンオキシアニオンを含むクロラミン溶液。
- ハロゲンポリオキシアニオンを含まないモノクロラミン(MCA)を含む溶液。
- 測定可能な量のハロゲンポリオキシアニオンを含有しないハロアミン溶液。
- 殺生物剤としての請求項19~22のいずれか一項に記載の溶液の使用。
