Claims (12)
- 複数のバッテリーセル及び隣接したバッテリーセル同士の間に介在される少なくとも一つのパッド複合体を含むセル積層体と、
前記セル積層体を収容するモジュールケースと、を含み、
前記パッド複合体は、
前記バッテリーセルのスウェリングによる体積膨張によって圧縮される一対のスウェリング吸収パッドと、
前記一対のスウェリング吸収パッドの間に介在されて隣接したバッテリーセル間の熱伝達を遮断し、予め設定された基準温度以上で膨張する熱遮断パッドと、を含む、バッテリーモジュール。 - 前記スウェリング吸収パッドは、前記基準温度以上で収縮して厚さが減少する、請求項1に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記熱遮断パッドは、前記基準温度以上で膨張して前記スウェリング吸収パッドの収縮によって生じる空間を埋める、請求項2に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記基準温度以上での前記熱遮断パッドの厚さ方向の膨張率が5~40である、請求項3に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バッテリーセルは、パウチ型バッテリーセルである、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 一つの前記パッド複合体が備えられ、一つの前記パッド複合体は前記セル積層体の積層方向の中心部に配置される、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記バッテリーモジュールは、複数のバッテリーセルを含むセルグループ同士の間毎に配置される複数のスウェリング吸収パッドをさらに含む、請求項6に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 複数個の前記パッド複合体が備えられ、複数のパッド複合体は複数のバッテリーセルを含むセルグループ同士の間毎に配置される、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記スウェリング吸収パッドは、発泡ポリプロピレン及びウレタンの少なくともいずれか一つを含む、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 前記熱遮断パッドは、エポキシ系樹脂、ブチル系樹脂及び塩化ビニル系樹脂のうち少なくともいずれか一つを含む、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュール。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを含むバッテリーパック。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載のバッテリーモジュールを含む自動車。
