Abstract
Description
本出願は、2018年9月17日に出願された「IMPROVED RESPONSE TIME IN LOST MOTION VALVETRAINS」と題する米国仮特許出願第62/732,353号に対する優先権を主張するものであり、その主題は、参照によりその全体が本明細書に組み込まれる。
Claims (21)
- 内燃エンジン内の少なくとも1つのエンジンバルブを作動させるためのシステムであって、
運動源から前記少なくとも1つのエンジンバルブへと運動を伝えるためのバルブトレインであって、ロッカーシャフトに取り付けられたロッカーアーム、およびロストモーション構成要素を含む、バルブトレインと、
前記ロストモーション構成要素を制御するための制御バルブであって、前記制御バルブが、作動流体供給源から作動流体を受容するための入口を有し、
前記ロッカーシャフトが、前記制御バルブと前記ロストモーション構成要素との間で作動流体を伝えるためのロストモーション制御流路を有し、
前記制御バルブが、前記制御バルブが前記ロストモーション制御流路内の作動流体の作動流れを可能にする作動モード、および前記制御バルブが前記ロストモーション制御流路内の前記作動流れを阻止する停止モードを有する、制御バルブと、
前記制御バルブが前記停止モードにあるときに、前記ロストモーション制御流路内の作動流体の補助流れを提供するように適合された調整回路であって、前記制御流路からの前記補助流れを通気させるためのベントを含む、調整回路と、を備える、システム。 - 前記ロッカーシャフトが、前記作動流体供給源から作動流体を受容するための供給通路を含み、前記調整回路が、前記ロッカーシャフト供給通路を前記ロッカーシャフトロストモーション制御通路に接続する少なくとも1つの補助流路を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ロッカーアームが、前記作動流体供給源から作動流体を受容するためのロッカーアーム供給通路と、ロッカーアームロストモーション制御通路と、を含み、前記調整回路が、前記ロッカーアーム供給通路を前記ロッカーアームロストモーション制御通路に接続する補助流路を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 作動流体を前記制御バルブに運ぶためのマニホールド入口流路と、前記制御バルブから作動流体を運ぶためのマニホールド出口流路と、を有する、制御バルブマニホールドをさらに備え、前記調整回路が、前記マニホールド出口通路および前記マニホールド入口通路を接続する補助流路を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御バルブが、制御バルブ出口をさらに備え、前記調整回路が、前記制御バルブ出口を前記制御バルブ入口に接続する補助流路を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記調整回路が、前記補助流れを制御するための流れ制御構成要素をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記流れ制御構成要素が、オリフィスを備える、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記流れ制御構成要素が、リリーフバルブを備える、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記流れ制御構成要素が、チェックバルブを備える、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記ロストモーション構成要素が、作動圧力を有し、前記調整回路が、前記調整回路を前記ロストモーション構成要素の前記作動圧力未満の調整回路圧力に維持するように適合された調節構成要素をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記制御バルブが、3方向ソレノイドバルブを備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記調整回路は、前記制御バルブが前記作動モードにあるときに前記補助流れを提供するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ロストモーション構成要素が、ロストモーションバルブブリッジである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記調整回路が、前記ロストモーション制御流路の中へ延在する、前記ロッカーシャフト内の貫通孔を備える補助流路を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記調整回路が、前記ロストモーション制御流路内に延在するねじ付き固定具によって提供される補助流路を備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記補助流路内の前記作動流体の流れが圧力閾値未満になるのを防止するために、リリーフ装置をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの補助流路が、前記ロッカーシャフトの端部に近接して配置される、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記ロッカーシャフトが、軸方向長さを有し、前記制御バルブが、前記ロッカーシャフト軸方向長さの少なくとも半分である、前記少なくとも1つの補助流路からの距離に位置決めされる、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記調整回路が、ロッカーブッシング内に形成された少なくとも1つのチャネルを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ロストモーション構成要素が、前記ロッカーアーム内に配置される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ロストモーション構成要素が、前記バルブトレイン内のプッシュロッド内に位置付けられる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
