Claims (19)
- エンジンバルブトレインにおいて可変バルブ駆動を提供するためのエンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリであって、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに形成されたマスタピストン穴と、
前記マスタピストン穴と協働することによりマスタピストンチャンバを形成するマスタピストンであり、前記バルブトレインの動作源から動作を受領するための動作受領界面を有したマスタピストンと、
前記ハウジングに形成されたスレーブピストン穴と、
前記スレーブピストン穴と協働することによりスレーブピストンチャンバを形成するスレーブピストンであり、前記バルブトレインの動作受領構成要素に対して動作を伝達するための動作伝達界面を有したスレーブピストンと、を含み、
前記マスタピストンの前記動作受領界面は、前記マスタピストン内に、プッシュチューブ端部を受領するためのプッシュチューブ受領ソケットを含み、前記プッシュチューブ受領ソケットは、動作の全体にわたって前記プッシュチューブ端部が前記マスタピストン穴内に配置されたままであるように、前記マスタピストンの内部において充分な深さまで延びている、エンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリ。 - 前記プッシュチューブ受領ソケットは、平坦面又は凹面を有したプッシュチューブ受領ソケット端壁をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のエンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリ。
- 前記プッシュチューブ受領ソケットと協働するプッシュチューブキャップをさらに含み、前記プッシュチューブキャップは、凸面を有したプッシュチューブキャップ端壁を有している、請求項2に記載のエンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリ。
- 前記プッシュチューブソケット端壁の前記凹面は、前記プッシュチューブキャップ端壁の曲率半径よりも大きな曲率半径を有している、請求項3に記載のエンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリ。
- 前記マスタピストンは、プッシュチューブ受領端部から遠位端までの長さを有し、前記プッシュチューブソケットは、前記マスタピストンの内部において、前記マスタピストンの長さの少なくとも半分である深さにまで延びている、請求項1に記載のエンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリ。
- 前記マスタピストンは、前記マスタピストンの外面から前記プッシュチューブソケットまで延びる少なくとも1つの潤滑通路を含み、これにより、前記プッシュチューブソケットに対して潤滑流体が流れることを可能としている、請求項1に記載のエンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリ。
- 前記マスタピストンは、プッシュチューブ受領端部上に配置された環状マスタピストンスプリング座を含む、請求項1に記載のエンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリ。
- 前記マスタピストンと前記スレーブピストンとは、軸線方向において実質的に位置合わせされている、請求項1に記載のエンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリ。
- エンジン始動サイクル時に前記マスタピストンチャンバに対して動作流体を供給するために、前記マスタピストンチャンバと流体連通したドライスタート油圧回路をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のエンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリ。
- エンジン上への組立の前に前記マスタピストンを前記ハウジング上の設置位置に保持するためのマスタピストン保持具をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のエンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリ。
- エンジンバルブトレインにおいて可変バルブ駆動を提供するためのエンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリであって、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに形成されたマスタピストン穴と、
前記マスタピストン穴と協働することによりマスタピストンチャンバを形成するマスタピストンであり、前記バルブトレインの動作源から動作を受領するための動作受領界面を有したマスタピストンと、
前記ハウジングに形成されたスレーブピストン穴と、
前記スレーブピストン穴と協働することによりスレーブピストンチャンバを形成するスレーブピストンであり、前記バルブトレインの動作受領構成要素に対して動作を伝達するための動作伝達界面を有したスレーブピストンと、
エンジン始動サイクル時に前記マスタピストンチャンバに対して動作流体を供給するために、前記マスタピストンチャンバと協働するドライスタート油圧回路と、を含む、エンジンバルブ駆動アセンブリ。 - 前記ドライスタート油圧回路は、
高圧油圧サブ回路と、
低圧油圧サブ回路と、
前記高圧油圧サブ回路と前記低圧サブ回路とを選択的に隔離するための少なくとも1つのバルブと、を含む、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。 - 前記少なくとも1つのバルブは、ソレノイドバルブと、高圧逆止バルブと、を含む、請求項12に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記バルブ駆動アセンブリのドライスタートサイクル時に使用されることとなる油圧流体を貯蔵するために、前記低圧油圧サブ回路及び前記高圧油圧サブ回路のうちの少なくとも一方に、ドライスタートリザーバをさらに含む、請求項12に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記低圧サブ回路内に、アキュムレータをさらに含み、前記アキュムレータは、アキュムレータピストンと、流出オリフィスと、を有し、前記アキュムレータピストンは、ドライスタートサイクル時には、前記低圧サブ回路から前記流出オリフィスを選択的に隔離するように構成されている、請求項13に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ハウジングは、エンジンオーバーヘッドアセンブリに対して取り付けられるように構成された台座として形成されている、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記ハウジングは、バルブロッカ台座であるように構成され、前記マスタピストンと前記スレーブピストンと前記ドライスタート油圧回路とは、前記バルブロッカ台座内に統合され、これにより、前記エンジンヘッドに対して取り付けられるように構成されたモジュール式アドオンアセンブリを提供する、請求項16に記載のアセンブリ。
- バルブ着座速度を制御するために、前記スレーブピストンと協働するバルブキャッチ構成要素をさらに含む、請求項11に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記バルブキャッチ構成要素は、前記スレーブピストンの制御ピンと協働するチェックディスクを含み、これにより、前記制御ピンが移動する際には、前記制御ピン内の少なくとも1つのオイル通路を選択的に閉塞させる、請求項18に記載のアセンブリ。
