Claims (8)
- 軸受面が形成されたフォイルを有するフォイル軸受において、
前記フォイルの端部に、前記端部の縁と反対側に隣接する領域よりも肉厚が薄い薄肉部を設けたフォイル軸受。 - 前記薄肉部の肉厚が、前記端部の縁に近づくほど徐々に薄くなっている請求項1に記載のフォイル軸受。
- 前記薄肉部の、前記端部の縁の延在方向と直交する方向の寸法を1mm以下とした請求項1又は2に記載のフォイル軸受。
- 支持すべき回転部材の回転方向に並べて配された複数のフォイルを有し、各フォイルの下流側の端部を含む領域が、下流側に隣接するフォイルの上に重ねて配され、この領域に軸受面が形成されたフォイル軸受において、
各フォイルの下流側の端部に、上流側に隣接する領域よりも肉厚が薄い薄肉部を設けたフォイル軸受。 - 隣接する3枚のフォイルのうち、最も下流側のフォイルの上流側の端部と最も上流側のフォイルの下流側の端部との間に、回転方向の隙間が形成された請求項4に記載のフォイル軸受。
- 前記回転方向の隙間が0.5mm以下である請求項5に記載のフォイル軸受。
- 前記フォイルが、基材と、前記基材の表面に形成され、前記軸受面が設けられた潤滑被膜とを有し、
前記薄肉部における基材の表面の面粗度が、隣接する領域の基材の表面の面粗度よりも大きい請求項1~6の何れか1項に記載のフォイル軸受。 - 前記潤滑被膜が、無機バインダーを含む請求項7に記載のフォイル軸受。
