Abstract
Description
本発明は、インクジェットプリンタで使用するためのセキュリティインクを作る組成物、および方法に関する。
印刷技術が高度化し、プリンタが容易に公衆で利用可能になるとともに、要求に応じてますます多くの書類が印刷されるようになった。個人小切手、株、紙幣、遺言書、証書および薬物処方箋などのこれらの文書のいくつかの固有の価値に、偽造者が引き寄せられてそれらを改変または複製するようになった。

Claims (15)
- 水溶性の浸透するインクであって:
顔料と;
水溶性染料と;
1つ以上の湿潤剤であって、その中で水溶性染料が少なくとも部分的に可溶性であり、湿潤材が水溶性の浸透するインクの20重量パーセントから70重量パーセントで存在する、1つ以上の湿潤剤と;
水と;
を含むことを特徴とする、水溶性の浸透するインク。 - 顔料が、被印刷物上へと水溶性の浸透するインクを印刷した後に、被印刷物の印刷面上で目視可能であり、水溶性染料が、被印刷物上へと水溶性の浸透するインクを印刷した後に、被印刷物の非印刷面上で目視可能である、請求項1に記載の水溶性の浸透するインク。
- 1つ以上の湿潤剤および水溶性染料が、乾燥前に被印刷物の厚みを通って移動する、請求項2に記載の水溶性の浸透するインク。
- 1つ以上の湿潤剤がそれぞれ、摂氏200度以上の沸点を有する2つの湿潤剤を含み、該湿潤剤に水溶性染料が十分に可溶性である、請求項1に記載の水溶性の浸透するインク。
- 1つ以上の湿潤剤が、グリコール、ジオール、またはトリオールである第3の湿潤剤をさらに含み、該湿潤剤は、水溶性の浸透するインクの噴出特性を調節するために含まれている、請求項4に記載の水溶性の浸透するインク。
- 1つ以上の湿潤剤が、2-ピロリドン、Dowanol(商標)PMグリコールエーテル、ジ(エチレングリコール)エチルエーテル、エチレングリコール、1-メトキシ-2-プロパノール、ヘキシルカルビトール、1,3-プロパンジオール、1,5-ペンタンジオール、Dowanol(商標)PPHグリコールエーテル、トリエチレングリコール、グリセロール、または1-(2-ヒドロキシエチル)-2-ピロリドンの少なくとも2つを含む、請求項1に記載の水溶性の浸透するインク。
- 水および1つ以上の湿潤剤がともに、摂氏150度より高い沸点を有する、請求項1に記載の水溶性の浸透するインク。
- 水溶性の浸透するインクの0.1重量パーセントから10重量パーセントで存在する浸透剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の水溶性の浸透するインク。
- 水溶性の浸透するインクの0.1重量パーセントから2重量パーセントで存在する界面活性剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の水溶性の浸透するインク。
- 水溶性染料が、紫外線応答性の染料、または非蛍光の染料の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の水溶性の浸透するインク。
- 1つ以上の湿潤剤が、水溶性の浸透するインクの少なくとも20重量パーセントの量で存在する、請求項1に記載の水溶性の浸透するインク。
- 水溶性の浸透するインクがインクジェットプリンタを用いて印刷されうる、請求項1に
記載の水溶性の浸透するインク。 - 水溶性の浸透するインクを作る方法であって:
顔料分散体を調製する工程と;
染料、1つ以上の湿潤剤、および水を顔料分散体へ混合する工程と;
を含み、
ここで、1つ以上の湿潤剤が、20重量パーセントから70重量パーセントで混合液中に存在することを特徴とする方法。 - 1つ以上の湿潤剤を混合する工程がさらに、摂氏200度以上の沸点を有する第1の湿潤剤を混合すること、および染料が十分に可溶性である第2の湿潤剤を混合することを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 混合された1つ以上の湿潤剤および水が、摂氏175度を超える沸点を有するように、1つ以上の湿潤剤の量およびタイプが選択される、請求項13に記載の方法。
