Abstract
Description
図1及び図2に示すように、電気光学装置としての液晶装置500は、電気光学パネルとしての液晶パネル101と、液晶パネル101の第1辺130の端子部13に接続された第1配線基板としての第1接続用配線基板110及び第2配線基板としての第2接続用配線基板120と、を有している。なお、図1及び図2は、本発明の構成、作用及び効果を説明する上で支障のない範囲で適時省略して記載している。液晶装置500は、例えば、後述する電子機器としてのプロジェクター1000のライトバルブとして用いられる。
このように、第1実施形態の構成によれば、二つの配線基板が互いに重なりを有し、近接して実装されるときに、後段に実装される配線基板の実装歩留まりを向上させる電気光学パネル、電気光学装置、及び電子機器を提供することができる。
第2実施形態の液晶パネル102は、図8に示すように、第2端子群160の幅L2が、第1端子群50の幅L1よりも小さい部分が、第1実施形態の液晶パネル101と異なっている。その他の構成については概ね同様である。このため第2実施形態では、第1実施形態と異なる部分について詳細に説明し、その他の重複する部分については適宜説明を省略する。

- 表示領域を備えた電気光学パネルであって、
前記電気光学パネルの第1辺に沿って配列される複数の第1端子を備える第1端子群と、
前記第1端子群と前記表示領域との間に配置され、前記第1辺に沿って配列される複数の第2端子を備える第2端子群とを備え、
前記複数の第2端子の数は、前記複数の第1端子の数より少ないことを特徴とする電気光学パネル。 - 請求項1に記載の電気光学パネルであって、
前記第1端子群において、前記複数の第1端子は、第1の端子ピッチで配列され、
前記第2端子群において、前記複数の第2端子は、前記第1の端子ピッチより大きい第2の端子ピッチで配列されていることを特徴とする電気光学パネル。 - 請求項1に記載の電気光学パネルであって、
