当該プラグが、第1加熱ワイヤ及び第2加熱ワイヤ並びにPE本体を含み、
該PE本体が:
前記PEチューブに挿入可能である第1セクションであり、前記PEチューブと係合しかつ前記第1加熱ワイヤを埋め込み可能な第1表面を含む、第1セクション;
前記第1セクション内にあり、前記PEジャケット付きケーブルが挿入可能である第2セクションであり、前記PEジャケット付きケーブルと係合しかつ前記第2加熱ワイヤを埋め込み可能な第2表面を含む、第2セクション;
を含む、プラグ。 - 前記第1セクション及び前記第2セクションは、環状かつ同軸であり、前記第2セクションは前記第1セクションよりも厚い、請求項1に記載のプラグ。
- 前記第1表面は環状であり、半径方向外側に面し、前記第2表面は環状であり、半径方向内側に面する、請求項1に記載のプラグ。

前記第1セクション内にあり、前記PEジャケット付きケーブルが挿入可能である第2セクションであり、前記PEジャケット付きケーブルと係合しかつ第2加熱ワイヤを埋め込み可能な第2表面を含む、第2セクションとを、含むPE本体を備えたプラグを予備形成するステップ;
前記第1表面及び前記第2表面へ第1加熱ワイヤ及び第2加熱ワイヤをそれぞれ埋め込むステップ;
前記第1表面及び前記第2表面を前記PEチューブ及び前記PEジャケット付きケーブルとそれぞれ係合させるステップ;及び
前記第1加熱ワイヤに電流を印加して、前記PEチューブの近位PE部分及び前記第1セクションを加熱し、前記第2加熱ワイヤに電流を印加して、前記PEジャケット付きケーブルの近位PE部分及び前記第2セクションを加熱する、電流印加ステップ;
を含む方法。 - 前記第1セクション及び前記第2セクションは、環状かつ同軸であり、前記第2セクションは前記第1セクションよりも厚い、請求項15に記載の方法。
