Abstract
Description

電気車両は充電が必要である。電気車両は、さまざまな方法で充電レベルを示す。例えば、フロントガラスの近くにある小さなライトやダッシュボードの表示を使用するものがある。他には、充電ポートの充電インジケーターを使用するものもある。充電インジケーターの使用方法は、特定の電気車両モデルに慣れていない人を混乱させる可能性がある。例えば、車両が公共の充電ステーションで充電している場合、車両が完全に充電され、別の電気車両の充電を開始するために切断することができるかどうかを判断するのが難しい場合がある。また、車両から少し離れた距離から車両の充電状態を判断することも困難である。
Claims (20)
- 電気車両用の充電インジケーターシステムであって、
外部ライトと、
バッテリー管理モジュールと、
前記バッテリー管理モジュールに通信可能に結合された照明制御モジュールとを含み、前記照明制御モジュールは、
前記外部ライトに前記電気車両の運転動作中に光を放出させ、
前記バッテリー管理モジュールから車両バッテリーの充電状態情報を受信し、
前記受信した充電状態情報に基づいて、前記外部ライトに充電状態を示す光を放出させるように構成される、照明制御モジュールと、を含む、システム。 - 前記照明制御モジュールは、前記外部ライトに、
前記電気車両の動作中に実質的に一定の強度で光を放出させ、
充電中に変化する強度で光を放出させるように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記照明制御モジュールは、前記充電状態情報が充電障害が発生したことを示すときに、急速に変化する強度で、前記外部ライトに光を放出させるように構成される、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 動作中および充電中に放出される前記光が同じ色である、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記外部ライトが幅および高さを含み、前記幅が前記高さより少なくとも5倍大きい、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記照明制御モジュールは、前記外部ライトに、
前記電気車両の動作中に第一の色の光を放出させ、
充電中に第二の色の光を放出させるように構成され、前記第一の色は前記第二の色とは異なる、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記第二の色が青を含む、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記照明制御モジュールは、前記車両バッテリーが完全に充電されたときに、前記外部ライトに第三の色の光を放出させるように構成される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記第三の色が緑を含む、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記照明制御モジュールは、充電障害が発生したときに、前記外部ライトに第四の色の光を放出させるように構成される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記第四の色が赤を含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 人の存在を検出するように構成される近接センサーをさらに含み、
前記照明制御モジュールは、
人の存在を示す前記近接センサーからの信号を受信し、
人の存在を示す前記信号に応答して、前記外部ライトに充電状態を示す光を放出させるように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記近接センサーが、動きを検出するように構成されるモーションセンサーを含み、人の存在を示す前記信号が、動きの存在を示す信号を含む、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記近接センサーが、近距離無線通信デバイスおよびブルートゥース(登録商標)通信デバイスのうちの一つを含む、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記電気車両の位置を決定するように構成される位置決め装置をさらに含み、
前記照明制御モジュールは、
前記電気車両の前記位置を示す前記位置決め装置からの信号を受信し、
前記電気車両の前記位置に応じて、前記外部ライトに充電状態を示す光を放出させるように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記照明制御モジュールは、前記電気車両の前記位置がタグ付けされた位置の閾値距離内にないときに、前記外部ライトに充電状態を示す光を放出させるように構成される、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記照明制御モジュールは、前記電気車両が充電中であり、かつ前記電気車両の前記位置がタグ付けされた位置の閾値距離内にあるときに、前記外部ライトに充電状態を示す光を放出させないように構成される、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記外部ライトが、
前記電気車両の動作中に光を放出するための発光ダイオード(LED)の第一のセットと、
前記充電状態を示す光を放出するためのLEDの第二のセットと、を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記照明制御モジュールが、
第一の充電状態を示すために、LEDの前記第二のセットの第一のサブセットに光を放出させ、
第二の充電状態を示すために、LEDの前記第二のセットの第二のサブセットに光を放出させるように構成される、請求項18に記載のシステム。 - 電気車両の充電状態を示すための方法であって、
前記電気車両の運転動作中に、外部ライトを使用して、実質的に一定の光強度の光を放出するステップと、
バッテリー管理モジュールから車両バッテリーの充電状態情報を受信するステップと、
前記外部ライトを使用して、前記受信した充電状態情報に基づいた充電状態を示す光を放出するステップと、を含む、方法。
