Abstract
Description
[0001]本出願は、2018年1月8日に米国特許商標局で出願された米国仮特許出願第62/614,921号への優先権を主張し、その出願の内容は本明細書において参照により組み込まれている。

Claims (31)
- 流体を通過するための流線形物体であって、
前縁および後縁を定める外面であって、前記前縁は、前記流体を通る前記流線形物体の移動の間に前記後縁の前に前記流体を通過するように配向される、外面と、
前記外面に結合された複数の繊維であって、複数の繊維の各々の繊維が前記外面から離れるように突出する、複数の繊維と
を備える流線形物体。 - 前記複数の繊維は前記外面の全体に位置付けられる、請求項1に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記複数の繊維は、前記後縁より前記前縁の近くの前記外面の一部分に位置付けられる、請求項1に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記複数の繊維の各々の繊維は1.7mm以下の繊維長さを有する、請求項3に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記複数の繊維の各々の繊維は0.5mm以下の繊維長さを有する、請求項4に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記複数の繊維は、前記前縁より前記後縁の近くの前記外面の一部分に位置付けられる、請求項1に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記複数の繊維の各々の繊維は10.0mm以下の繊維長さを有する、請求項6に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記複数の繊維の各々の繊維は4.0mm以下の繊維長さを有する、請求項7に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記流線形物体は、航空機の一部分、地上の乗り物の一部分、船の一部分、水中船の一部分、または風力タービンの一部分である、請求項1に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記流線形物体は翼の形態である、請求項9に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記複数の繊維の各々の繊維はナイロンから構築される、請求項1に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記複数の繊維は、前記複数の繊維の少なくとも2つの個別区域を伴って前記外面に位置付けられる、請求項1に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記複数の繊維の前記少なくとも2つの個別区域のうちの1つの区域は、前記少なくとも2つの個別区域のうちの他の区域より前記前縁の近くにあり、前記前縁により近い前記1つの区域は、前記他の区域より短い繊維を有する、請求項12に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記複数の繊維の各々の繊維は、綿、レーヨン、またはポリエステルから構築される、請求項1に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記流線形物体は、断面が実質的に円筒形である、請求項1に記載の流線形物体。
- 前記流線形物体は、ワイヤ、または、柱、または、使用者に着用される衣服の一部分、またはアンテナの一部分である、請求項15に記載の流線形物体。

- 前記少なくとも一部の繊維は、前記管を通過させられる前記流体流れの境界層厚さを越えるように選択される長さのものである、請求項17に記載の管。
- 前記少なくとも一部の繊維は、前記管を通過させられる前記流体流れの乱流区域に位置するように前記内部通路において十分に下流に位置付けられる、請求項17に記載の管。
- 前記複数の繊維は前記管の前記内壁表面の全体に位置付けられる、請求項17に記載の管。
- 前記少なくとも一部の繊維は50μm以下の繊維直径を有する、請求項17に記載の管。
- 前記少なくとも一部の繊維は4.0mm以下の繊維長さを有する、請求項17に記載の管。
- 前記少なくとも一部の繊維は複数の短い繊維と複数の長い繊維とを備え、前記複数の短い繊維は前記複数の長い繊維の上流に位置付けられる、請求項17に記載の管。
- 前記複数の短い繊維は、前記管の長さに沿って延びる不連続距離によって前記複数の長い繊維から分離される、請求項24に記載の管。
- 前記複数の短い繊維の各々の繊維は0.5mm以下の繊維長さを有する、請求項24に記載の管。
- 前記複数の長い繊維の各々の繊維は0.5mmより大きく4.0mm以下の繊維長さを有する、請求項26に記載の管。
- 前記複数の繊維の各々の繊維はナイロンから構築される、請求項17に記載の管。
- 前記管は空気調和システムのための空気ダクトを形成する、請求項17に記載の管。
- 前記複数の繊維の各々の繊維は、綿、レーヨン、またはポリエステルから構築される、請求項17に記載の管。
