Description
Claims (23)
- 内部に配置された弾性カプラーを有し、かつ、塞栓装置の開口部と係合するように構成されたカテーテルと、
前記カプラーに動作可能に連結され、前記カプラーを前記塞栓装置に係合するように操作するように構成された作動装置と、
を備えることを特徴とする塞栓処置装置。 - 前記弾性カプラーは、上方に曲がるとともに前記開口部に向かって延びる操作可能な先端部を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の塞栓処置装置。
- 前記弾性カプラーは、軸を有する細長部材を備え、前記操作可能な先端部は前記軸から離れて動作し続けることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の塞栓処置装置。
- 前記カテーテルは、前記カテーテル上に配置されたロックウィンドウを備え、かつ、前記ロックウィンドウで前記弾性カプラーに係合するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の塞栓処置装置。
- 前記弾性カプラーは、操作可能な先端部を有し、かつ、前記ロックウィンドウで前記弾性カプラーを固定するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の塞栓処置装置。
- 前記カテーテルは、遠位端を備え、前記ロックウィンドウが前記カテーテルの遠位端に配置されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の塞栓処置装置。
- 前記弾性カプラーはループを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の塞栓処置装置。
- 前記塞栓装置の前記開口部は、前記塞栓装置の保持機構によって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の塞栓処置装置。
- 前記弾性カプラーは形状記憶材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の塞栓処置装置。
- 前記カテーテルは、前記カテーテル内に配置されるとともに前記係合部材の前記軸と交差するクロスバーを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の塞栓処置装置。
- 開口部を備えた保持リングを有する塞栓装置と、
細長カテーテルと、
前記細長カテーテル内にスライド可能に配置されるとともに、前記開口部を通して前記塞栓装置を保持するように構成された弾性カプラーと、を備えることを特徴とする塞栓装置送達システム。 - 前記細長カテーテルは、前記細長カテーテル上に配置され、前記弾性カプラーを前記塞栓装置に係合させるように構成されたロックウィンドウをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の塞栓装置送達システム。
- 前記弾性カプラーは、前記開口部に係合し、かつ、前記ロックウィンドウから突出して、前記塞栓装置を前記細長カテーテルに固定するように構成された端部をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の塞栓装置送達システム。
- 前記端部は、前記開口部および前記ロックウィンドウに係合するように、上方に曲がるように構成された可撓性材料を備えることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の塞栓装置送達システム。
- 前記端部は、前記開口部および前記ロックウィンドウに係合するように、形状を変更させるように構成された形状記憶合金を備えることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の塞栓装置送達システム。
- 前記細長カテーテルは、近位端を備え、前記近位端は、前記カプラーを前記ロックウィンドウおよび前記開口部から解放するように、前記近位端に向けて前記カプラーの前記端部を操作するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の塞栓装置送達システム。
- 前記細長カテーテルは、遠位端を備え、前記ロックウィンドウは、前記塞栓装置が前記細長カテーテル内に部分的に含まれるように、前記細長カテーテルの前記遠位端に隣接して配置されていることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の塞栓装置送達システム。
- 前記細長カテーテルは、前記細長カテーテル内に配置されるとともに前記係合部材の軸と交差するクロスバーを備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の塞栓装置送達システム。
- 塞栓装置を送達する方法であって、
操作可能な先端部を有する弾性カプラーに前記塞栓装置の開口部を係合させることによって、送達装置をカテーテルに係合させるステップであって、前記カプラーは前記カテーテル内に配置されている、ステップと、
前記カテーテルを患者の動脈に挿入するステップと、
動脈瘤に隣接した動脈内で、前記塞栓装置を前記カテーテルと共に操作するステップと、
前記カプラーを開口部から引っ込めるステップと、
前記カテーテルを前記動脈から取り外すステップと、を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記操作可能な先端部を、前記カテーテルに配置されたロックウィンドウに固定するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記塞栓装置を解放するために、近位方向で前記カプラーを引っ張ることによって前記カプラーを作動するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記係合させるステップは、前記塞栓装置を固定するように、前記カプラーを前記カテーテルの前記遠位端に押圧することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記カプラーを引っ込めるステップの間、前記カテーテル内に配置されたクロスバーで前記カプラーを直線化することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。
